Paula - Lots of good thoughts headed your way on Thursday a.m.

Karen - I hope you get to go to your concert!

Karen :wizard: that you get to go!

Elizabeth I am glad nothing was found. I would probably be calling the camp & asking them what made them think they had lice :confused3

There was another child in her group that had a significant infestation, so they checked all of the other kids. The lady I spoke with said Sister had "2 or 3" in her hair. Well, they must have crawled away in the time it took to find someone to come get her!:scared:

Karen - I hope you are able to go to the concert!

The Sci-Fi channel is having a Twilight Zone marathon. Guess I will just veg out, I love watching these.

I'm all caught up.

Bob was beat by the end of the day. I told him he better work on his stamina. I don't know if he's going to be able to hang come October. ;) Plus, I think, for him, having to deal with three kids as opposed to his one is rather trying. I'm finding it, on the other hand, very easy to go from two to three. He was great though. I would stay with the girls in the little pool and he would take Nicholas around to all the water slides. Then we would trade. Nicholas made me go down this one slide that was just a straight drop. I was scared to death and really wanted to chicken out, but couldn't. So he goes first, gets to the bottom, turns around and gives me the :thumbsup2 . I so wanted to walk down the stairs, but I had to go down it. I'm proud to say I survived. ;) Whew.

Tammi after reading this.
I remembered a cute thing Ramiro asked me 1 time.
I grew up in Illinois (lots of snow, ect.)
Ramiro asks me Mom did you ever drive in a blizzard.
I answered yes.
Then he asked me did you survive?
I answered no I died.
He looked at me funny & said MOM.
Than he realized what he had asked me.
Than he says oh I get it, than he starts laughing.
We both still laugh about this from time to time.
Kids say the cutest things.

Did the shirts and the kids look like this? Were they fighting over pressing the buttons on the elevator? If so, that clinches it. It was us. ;)

:wizard: Ken definitely wasn't with us because he was in class and we were probably on our way to MGM without him.

I'm not sure if we had a rehabbed room or not since I've never been there. They were nice enough. The noise from the construction didn't bother us.

Yep -- cute shirts and cute kids! :)

Evening all.
Hope all are well.
I'm way back about 50 pagws.
Didn't take notes.
So I'm winging this.

Happy Birth Day Little Lucy.

Kristine & Bill good luck.

Jennifer love your princess: to be name.
My legal name is BrendaJo. no middle name (after my GF & SGF Dads side) .
Just my 2 cents.
1st name Virgina Kay, middle name Elizabeth.
That way you could honor all the DGM.
I also like the way it sounds.
Sorry not 25 but I like it. :rotfl2:

I received a post card from no sure who??
Thanks it was cute.

Well I know I missed someone or something.
Happy Happy what ever.
Get well soon.
All that jazz.
Take care.
Back to catch up.

So DH and I were chatting about airfare (which is now up to $388 for non-stop on American). I looked at SW and their fares aren't too bad - $200 round trip with one stop but no changing planes. So then I looked at a room at Pop for December. And then I called and booked a room at Pop in December.:rolleyes1 So we might be going to WDW in December after all! Pop is only $74 with a AAA discount. Last year the AP rate was only $4 better and there weren't any rooms at Pop with AP, so that part is all set. Airfare and MVMCP tickets are pending. Oh, and DH needs to see if he can get someone to cover a day for him. If it all pulls together we will fly out Dec. 12 and come home Dec. 16.:cool1:

Hi everyone...Lucy and I are home from the hospital,we got discharged around 5:30pm. :woohoo: I am so happy to be home. I tried to post earlier but kept getting interrupted.

Can I ask you all send some good vibes Lucy's way. She failed her hearing test this afternoon. The nurse said that I shouldn't be too worried as it is pretty common but until I speak to her pediatrician it's hard not too. Her ped did see her this morning and gave her a clean bill of health, but Lucy wasn't tested yet as they have to be 24 hrs old. So I'm curious to see what she says. We have a follow up test in 3 weeks.

Thanks everyone for the compliments!!:goodvibes The girl's were very excited to meet her yesterday.

Janet and Jennifer- You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers over the next few days. And please don't feel bad about posting, it's what makes us a family and I wouldn't have it any other way. We share the happy, sad and all the little things in between.

Paula- Bethie has some :wizard: headed her way for Thursday. Here's a  for you.

Sending out 's and :wizard: to all. I will check back in when I can but know that I'm thinking about you!

I am off of here, Lucy just finished eating and Eric put her down for bed. Night DDA!

We're going to WDW THIS month!!!

You were certainly chatty while we were gone. I'm already 21 pages behind and I don't think I'll be catching up tonight as I'm pretty tired.

We had a good time though Chris is convinced that we are now classified as rednecks. We camped in a field with 9000 other RVers. We had no water, electricity or sewer. We had to use port a potties that were cleaned out a couple of times each day by a kaka sucka :confused3 :confused3 I even selected a driver to cheer for. This is him

RNRR06~Ryan-Newman-Posters.jpg
I chose him because a) I like the colors he wears and b)he is a cutie  I even told Chris why I picked him :lmao: My guy beat Chris's guy too :cool1: Now I may even have to watch the races on TV.

If there's anything that I should know will someone please PM me as It will be sometime tomorrow before I have time to catch up.

You live in a house & camp in an RV.
So that makes you high class rednecks.
I live in a mobile home & camp in a tent.
I also sport a lovely farmers tan.
So That makes me a redneck for sure.
See your not alone here.

You never know, you may end up a SW convert after all. ;) And remember, if those fares come down with a sale, or a DING, you get to keep all of the credit for the next trip - no stinking change fees!

Congrats on the "almost" December trip! :woohoo: :woohoo:

So good to see you, Robyn - I can't believe you guys are already home! :dance3:

Rest well, tonight - tons of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for Lucy's hearing. Hopefully, it will just be an inconvenient worry for a few days, and nothing more.

And the credit goes to the buyer not each individual flyer so you could use the credit on just you!;)

Robyn its not uncommon for babies to fail their first hearing screen. Most of the time they still have fluid in their ears. We usually do our follow ups within a few days if they are discharged from the hospital early.

Glad you are doing well and got to come home early.

well I am caught up. I had to get online to find a hotel in Victoria as the funeral is at 10am friday morning. So we will stay overnight Thur.
