What a great morning I had! The first pair of pants that I put on (which admitedly were a bit big to begin with) fell off!! :rotfl: They are being retired to the "I under-grew them" bag never to be seen again!
:yay: :yay: :yay: Fabulous! My solution is to buy a couple of cheap pairs of khakis at Target. Khakis go with anything and you can dress them up or down.
Southwest is supposed to open up their schedule to Nov. 2nd today!
I heard this!!! I will be at work this morning. The ding comes out around 11am EST??? I'll keep a close eye. Michelle....are dings available only from the ding link or can I go directly into "book airfare" and see them there??? I could fly from Louisville or Nashville (if necessary). I'll hope for a good deal as not looking forward to 26 hours in the car with kiddos again.

No, you have to go through the DING pop-up, you can't book DING airfares from the website. Last year we lucked out and got round-trip airfare on Southwest for $100! That's $40 each way plus taxes, fees, etc. I couldn't believe it. I've never paid so little for airfare, and now I'm totally hooked on DING. I don't expect the prices to be that low when the come out, but I'll probably book our seats anyway today, if the fare is at least $69 each way. I'll keep an eye out for future DINGS and just switch to the lower fare later. We can fly out of Midway or Indy, so we have more flights to choose from...

I'm so bummed that "winkers" isn't on the list. How bout I make a cutout of myself that you can put in the group pictures???? We actually did this at my sisters wedding because my brother was in Chile for 2 years and couldn't be there!:)

We did this with a vmk/dis meet back in February '06. You can see a lot of them if you follow the link in my siggie to my photos, click on 'vacation' and then WDW February 06. We decided to take pictures of the girls all over the World, and it was hilarious! We would ask cast members to hold them and pose with them, and we got some hilarious looks! Of course, because it was a vmk meet, we used their vmk characters for the "flats". :rotfl:

I am back among the living now. My Dr. told me that my Allergies were really bad. DUH! :headache: She said I had allergy patches on the back of my throat. I had never heard of that, but she said it is like the patches you get with strep, just they are kind of redish/orange. Anyway, I have an antibiotic, and am feeling much better.

It is take your kid to work day, so I am taking DS to work today. I better get going. We have plenty of crafts he can help with. :rolleyes1

I have a picture of me and the kiddos on my profile page. Can't see it? Ask to be my friend.:flower3: I still don't have photobucket, and am just afraid I won't know what to do.

Love everyone else's photos.

.

.. I've been so touched by the posts - the beauty of all of y'all!

a long time ago, in a place far away from here...

a man got a dream job and moved his family away, it broke his heart as he had moved so many times in his youth. Get over it. so the girl did. but her senior year she could drive - and drove back to her old haunts... and met a 15 yr old who moved around a lot and never got a party - she threw him a sweet 16 party... then married him a few months after he turned 21.

yes, the years before digital were indeed the dark ages, and when one cannot work the scanner, well you get splots...

but one has to party and let her hair down, or his hair... hair, silky shiny... long beatiful... well

he always loved the white tux, God only knows why!!

but we've been told by utahthreadmomma to post ourselves in a swimsuit... and a year after we married, we took this amazing honeymoon trip.. to Jamaica... and what goes around comes around as DS and DFDIL are planning a honeymoon here.... here i am...

I may never have those gams again, but I always have liked them, even now!!

thanks for being my support system, my friends. Thanks for your kind words, and your strong arms helping me back on the wagon... and of course most of all...

Thanks for noticing me!!

The pics with this particular post aren't coming up on my computer! Is anyone else having this problem. I'm reading all these great comments from everyone about your pics, but I can't see them!

BEE.....I forgot to say :thumbsup2 on the make-up and hair. It does make a difference in how I think of myself as opposed to the ponytail/no-makeup look.

PIXIE....I can see them all. Not sure what's going on? :confused3

MICHELLE.....Downloading DING to my work computer. ;)

Allie :cool1: I was wondering where you got off to - almost sent you an email - but I had to be at work, and I'm playing hookie right now!! Bad sub, bad bad sub!! (I'm letting the sub for the classroom handle the kids, while I'm in the library - its Take your child to work day, and I'm a sub for an LD class - which is mainstreamed, and I shouldnt be here at all today!! But, I'll take the $50 for 1/2 day!! I will work the play in ten, now 5 min!!)

This brings up a good question... what have you done about clothing while you were still in the process of "shrinking?" I don't have the money to sink into new clothes each month, but want to look decent (at least for work where I need corporate casual and sometimes business attire). Any suggestions?

Thanks,

I call it disposable clothing- WM, Kmart, that sort of stuff. Cheap and fits better than my too big stuff. And I am not heartbroken when I outgrow it. Or, you can by the adjustable maternity pants like I did by mistake a few weeks ago at Target. I am happy to say I had to take them in a notch now :rotfl:

Off to teach the monkeys. The recital is in about a month and so I am in full blown panic serious teacher mode. There will be no fun had by anyone until we get those dances right

Ya know, I READ your totals every day!!!! So? How was that new SWCS from Mc Donalds?? I heard it's great but I worry about the dressing. Would it be good with the light ranch?

what kind of dressing does it come with? i don't like creamy dressings. i'm too picky!!! also, does it have beans? another thing I don't "do"! everything else in it looks really good!

Morning all, hope all is well int he land of Peeps?? Well I have a few moments to catch up and lordy what a busy group of Peeps! Great pics and what a truly lovely group. HGoenstly I have been a bit on the tired side and bumbed a bit by my gain and the shock yes shock when I saw that 30 lbs doesn't LOOK like a loss of 100 lbs shocking but true!

I learned yesterday that one of my son's clasmmates died in a car accident on their way to school, the Mom works at the HS here and have been praying for all affected.

Heres a sad irony usually DH has not been the most pleasant on vacations and this time he was a true delight and had some wierd OMG true loving moments. MY DS on the other hand was a terror~! I was very saddened by some terribly obnxioous behavior. I made DH a promise while we were there that I would book us a couple of days in Spet just the 2 of us and have terrible guilt I must say in doing this and am wrestling this out in my head.

Brat attack at the max I know age and only child thing and a few other things play into it but it was so saddening to me.

OK enough of that and I am 1/2 way unpacked ick! I start the new part time job tomorow evening and have great plans to get my home organized over the weekend. Budget dictates a uneventful weekend. I have not been good about eatting on vacation and since I got home. I made a commitment to get back ont he peeps wagon and get my ewatting and exercise under control.

I will sadly have to return the ribbon on Friday but will be wroking on getting a new one with a bigger number. I am such a startch addict it ain't funny. ALso as you can all tell my typos are still in place! Happy Thursday!
