ok.....I just need to vent.......

my brothers car isn't working properly....last week he asked if he could use my car on Friday for work...... we guess what...this morning I hear 'scrape, scrape, scrape' I look out the window and guess what....he is clearing off my car....which in some families would be a curteousy......(not mine) anyway...I go outside to ask him if he plans on taking my car...his reponse.
'well, yeah, I don't know what's wrong with mine' Now tell me this, was I supposed to just let him take it? I mean he is 22yo, has a job, and had 3 days to get the car to a mechanic(or to just ask my DH )
I guess I should have assumed 'can I use the car friday' meant indefinately?????


well, he got my dad to drive him to work, so I am sure I am the bad guy now....but hey, very rarely do I use my car during the day, But I ACTUALLY need it! ARGHH!!!!! I just wanted to smack him

I bet he does that kind of stuff all the time. We have a few folks in our family who like to take advantage of the others if they can. It's better to be the bad guy for a bit than get taken advatage of again and again. (oh, and I don't think you are a bad guy)

It's HUGE, and has 'neighborhoods' that are identified by numbers. It is alot of outlets, with a few big stores, like Burlington Coat Factory. and the loop around the mall is filled with great places to eat.

It's pretty big..... there is one by me called Franklin Mills.....it was designed by the same people..... it is 3/4 of a mile from one end the the other....a great walking mall

OK I just want everyone to know how retarted my bil is. We were suppose to go to his new girlfriends house (which we havn't met yet) about 3 for my nephews birthday. Ok my bil calls and said its gonna be about 6 or 7 now. I told my dh sorry its too late for the little ones. He agreed.. His bil said well just go over to his girlfriends house that my nephew will be there and he would try and make it too. Ok now there is no way I am going to a strangers house and sitting there to see IF my bil will make it. Man his family drives me nuts....

ya know, its to bad when you marry its not just your spouse but their family too. And you do get stuck with them. But you can also inore them!!

Ok, so I haven't gone to sleep yet...... anyway... I am pretty hyper, and my DH kicked me out of our room.....said he can't sleep with me in there


so here I am, I think I have read through every thread on the CB..... and now I made my own. I want to add more music to my Ipod,so I asked for suggestions.

I want suggestions from my LImey friends too!!!! I will tell you that I don't care for jazz, classical, or hard core rap...... ummmm....that doesn't leave out much!!!! and since I bring my Ipod to work every night....I listen to it about 30 hours a week.....
so does anyone have a favorite song or two that you can suggest????

I so hate late people. My dh is bad about that. I lie to him all the time to tell him earlier times so he's not late...

We do that here too. When I was in a singles group and we set something up, there were a few that asked if we were on New covanenat time or real time!! (NC time was up to 15 minutes later)

Oh no, I've cooked them myself plenty of times (oh, how I HATE that scratchy scratchy noise they make when you first start... ) BUT , I dont usually throw in the tongs too.....do you find they ever help their buddies out of the pot with the tongs in there?

Well I know you need a brick on the lid to keep them in. And yes, they do help each other out when you open the lid to drop in another one.

What I was talking about is when you lift one out of the bushel basket with the tongs and it gets away and runs across the kitchen floor with pinchers at the ready! that is when you use the big spatula! Can't have it hiding and dying somewhere or grabbing at anyone! Adds some excitement while they are cooking!
