Zip straps: coming and/or going?

do you use these to secure your luggage both ways or just when you leave your bags outside your door at the end of the cruise? TIA!

4 cruises and have never used zip straps/locks for any of them. We put our luggage out and within minutes it is gone from outside our door. Anything important I keep in my carry on suitcase so that stays with us anyway.

We always use TSA-approved luggage locks to secure our checked luggage when traveling, so of course we also used them when we put our luggage out for collection on the last night of the cruise.
