Got a little “pixie” dust from DH. He bought a scratch ticket and won 500. Gave it to me and I ran straight to Target and got more gift cards. Hoping to have enough by January to have trip completely paid and enough gift cards for food.

Now trying to figure out park tickets....base...or park hopper...and how many days...do you all buy them through Disney or are there any deals out there...which I doubt...but doesn't hurt to ask.

Been searching for matching shirts for the 11 of us....DH not a fan ...don't think DS1 and DS2 are either...but.......I may have just found one they make agree to wear...

I bought the 2018 guide book. Been reading and rereading it...since its been 4 years since last trip lots of new things to do and see....
How many days does everyone go to each park. Trying to figure out the days ...

We went for 6 days twice in 2006 - so a LONG time ago, but I think we ended up buying park hoppers and only hopped once - maybe twice. We ended spending a day each at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios and then 2 each at Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Our upcoming trip we are hoping to get Armed Forces Salute tickets which would be 5 day Park Hoppers and I'm trying to figure out how to fit it all in. For now, I'm thinking 2 days at MK and a day each at all the others but we may take more advantage of the hoppers if my kids end up needing mid-day breaks.

We will be traveling with 5 kids from ages 1 through 9... So I am sure we will go back and forth.
I think park hopper for us is a must..especially as DH1 and family are staying at the Beach Club..and we can meet them at epoct. Now to figure how many days at which parks..

CB002DBD-8ABC-47B4-9027-79365BDB1DF4.jpeg Well I signed up 3 weeks ago for a Disney Visa card (like I need another card).
But it came with a great perk
$200 Gift Card after 1 st purchase and a $50 card for signing up an authorized user .
Well guess what came today

Yeah 250.00 free GC.

Hi! Joining in as well

any thoughts for a character breakfast or dinner ....that all the kids will enjoy...the girls of course love the princess..the boys...not so much

I saw on a later post that you had a few meals picked out I'd think Garden grill would be awesome for your group. The characters are great for boys and girls and I think the parents of the younger three will appreciate that it's not a buffet. Bringing tiny people up to pick out food becomes such a chore!

The Bon Voyage breakfast at Trattoria has the princes and princesses, which should appeal to the boys, too. It's a short walk from the back of epcot or a bit longer to the front of HS.

Kohls had a sale on Disney Tee shirts ..stacked with a 30% off I got a few for each of my grandaughters

I went nuts when Kohls had their Disney stuff a) on sale b) 30% off and c) a stackable 10 off of 50 on back to school. I think I have a different outfit for each day of the trip for the girls!

..do you all buy them through Disney or are there any deals out there...

There are several sites where you can get tickets cheaper than Disney direct. The touring plans link above will compare the various discount sites and tell you which one has the best price for what you need (one site might have cheaper 5 day tickets, but another is cheaper for 6, so you have to know which tickets you want, first).

We aren't doing hoppers, but we are doing 9 park days on a 10 day trip. We decided, rather than hopping, to have more days in each park but only plan to stay in a park for 3/4 of the day. We'll have resort time the rest of the day. With the size and ages of your group, the hassle of hopping between parks may just be to much. What do the parents of the littles think? They're going to have the toughest time in terms of how much the kids can handle before they need to tap out.

I couldn't get my tablet to quote it but why the 9am BOG ADR? That's the time when ride lines will be their very shortest throughout the park If you can get an 8am reservation on a day they open at 9, then you can eat and be out in time to ride at 9. Otherwise , you may want to switch that to a late breakfast or early lunch. You can take advantage of the short lines and then eat when it gets more crowded.

Hi...I am going to try the ADR for BOG...but I think that is the only time they had...its so hard to figure out which days to go where and when..
My DS1 wants to do park hopper, as he is staying at the Beach Club and figures we could walk over to Epcot at night after a nap..the rest of us are staying at Bonnet Creek so will most likely Uber to the parks or BC...I am really going to have to go back and rethink this..thanks for the tip...I will check out Garden Grill and Tratori El Forno sp?...thanks for the tips...so glad I have this..as I said DH wants to know or talk about nothing...DS1 is usually the planner...but with 4 kids and work...he has been straight out...I am sure he will change almost everything I have planned...ugh

Following along! I'll be there a month after you :)
Btw the pics of the wedding have me floored .. the bride is gorgeous and so is the venue.

How exciting to be going with the whole family!

I love having the Disney Visa. The more you use it, the more points you accumulate and can get more Disney dollars that way!
