I got up early this morning as i was a bit nervous about making my reservations due to the start of free dining. At 5:55 my window finally opened up to book my 10 days out. I booked my most important ones first & checked out, then finished the rest of them and checked out again just to play it safe just in case of the system crashing or something crazy like that. Being this was the start of free dining for August (i have bounceback) I was really surprised at the availability for every restaurant (even Le Cellier which everyone wants but i had no interest in). I got all the early times that i wanted since i like to eat early dinners. Im just so happy right now i am going to celebrate! This is what i booked!

How are you going to do Fantasmic and HDDR?

Our HDDR dinner is at 5pm. Is the show 1 hr? We're not doing the meal package only the show that night at 9pm. Also we have a car to get us back and forth quicker.

Yes, as long as you have a car....bus service out of HDDR took FOREVER last trip. We had multiple resort stops, of course our's being the last stop. We waited on the bus for 40 minutes, waiting for guests, then almost 1 and a half hours driving through all the resorts.

HDDR is almost two hours long. btw

We don't want to plan too much on our first day and hopefully it will work out for us...as long as the schedule for the show stays the same too! Thanks for the info on the length of the show. Do they serve you your dinner right at the beginning or do you have to wait a while?

Here is the list for our Grand Gathering. At times we are not eating as a group, so I will list the various restaraunts.

Sunday-Ohana dinner for 10

Monday-Boma breakfast, 1900 Park Faire dinner

Tuesday-everyone is at MK, but only some of us are eating CP for lunch

Wednesday-LeCellier lunch

Thursday-SciFi lunch, 50's PT dinner, Cape May dinner, LeCellier, Akershus breakfast

Saturday-Chef Mickey breakfast, Cape May breakfast, WCC dinner

You are seated and they take your drink order. Then you get salad and cornbread. They do part of the show and then serve dinner...mashed potato, beans, ribs, and chicken. Then more of the show and strawberry shortcake at the end.

Make sure you ask for drinks when you see your server. They "disappear" during the show portions.

Congratulations everyone, it looks like you all have a great dining schedule. Im glad you all got what you wanted.
