Yak and Yati reservation

Like suggested I purchased a Landry’s card at the Morton’s steakhouse near my house before we left for trip. There were tons of people waiting. DH was skeptical when I walked up party of 7 oh and I have a Landry’s card. We waited to side for a minute and then were taken to the much less frantic upstairs. I did use my $25 credit and we had a very nice lunch. I would def eat here again.

I’m glad to hear this. My Landry’s card arrived in the mail today for our trip this summer. I have ADRs at Yak and Yeti and TRex. Do you think I’d be better off to skip the ADR and just use my Landry’s card to get a table?

Yes. We never make an ADR at Yak and Yeti and have always been seated in a few minutes - even when the waiting room was full.

We waited an hour last October and that was with a reservation. Definitely getting the Landry's card before our next trip.

We were in Animal Kingdom in a huge downpour. Went to Yak and Yeti with the Landry's card. Everyone else trying to get a table were quoted around 90 minutes or so. We walked in out of the rain and almost straight to a table. Waited out the rain while we ate. Though we hadn't planned on eating there I always carry my card with me when I go to WDW just in case. Best perk ever!

Just to note...the fine print says parties less than 6 for next available seating. Has anyone had any experience with this?

It's actually parties of six or less, not less than six. We are a group of six and fully intend to take advantage of priority seating on our trip.

I suspect they would try to accommodate LSC members with larger parties, but they probably have few tables that seat more than six.

If you apply for the Landry's card and get the $25 credit, can you use that along with an AP/DVC discount? Also, having the card doesn't prevent you from charging back to your room or using a Disney GC right?

You can use the $25 credit along with your AP discount you just won't earn points on your Landry's card. Once you reach a 250 points on your Landry's card you get another $25 credit to use. And you can use whatever method you would like to pay your remaining balance. I like buying discounted Landry's gift cards online at places like Sam's Club so I get an even bigger savings. At Sam's I just got $90 worth of gift cards for $67.50.

Without a Landrys card, I would have an ADR. While others have said they were able to walk in and not wait long, that has not been our experience having dined there multiple times. Around noon or 6 (times we have eaten there), the lobby is packed and they are telling walk ups it will be 30-45 minute wait. Even with an ADR, we have waited up to 15 minutes.

DH and I got immediate seating with our Landry’s card for lunch today. The couple behind us was told 70 minutes.

Where can you get a Landry’s card?

Depending on where in the US you live, you can get one from a Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Claim Jumpers, Rain Forrest Cafe. You can also, as someone said, buy one online. For a list of their restaurants, resorts, and casinos you can go to their website.

We've bought the Landry's card for our upcoming trip. During our last trip (June/July 2017) this was one of the few restaurants we saw turning people away. We couldn't even stand in the lobby it was so jammed. Even with an ADR we waiting 30+ minutes. It's one of our favourites so we wanted to make sure we could get in easily this time.

Does anyone know if you can still use your DVC discount with your Landrys card $25 welcome reward? I don't mind not earning the points.

I literally asked this question a few posts up lol. Got an answer too. I would expect if they take AP, they will do the same with DVC and the $25 credit. :-)
