I'm sure I'll change my mind when both my children are adults. But it would still be Disney since I like what Disney does to entertain adults...we don't drink or gamble so not much point in going to other cruise lines. I know it's sad, but I really love going to the Anyone Can Cook shows. That's fun for me.

Yep, we are happy with the Disney product and really enjoy DCL even though ours is grown up (well, she's still a kid to me). We tried Anyone Can Cook - Apple Strudel edition a couple of weeks ago and it was great fun!

Every cruise we've been on has had one or two Apple Strudel shows and a Sea Bass / Risotto show. I do remember a couple of times a Lobster ravioli, but I haven't seen that lately.

My husband loves to cook and bake...and well, I love watching chefs cook and bake. My husband can recreate things by just tasting it and well...I just love tasting new dishes. It works!:-)

My vote:
Adult only days in the Parks
Adult only Movie nights.
Adult only Resort.
Adult only Cruise
Adult only Dining in the Parks and Resorts.

We were also on a TA thathad 222 kid (I remembered that because what are the odds?). I remember that the areas I liked to go as an adult (rainforest, Cove, adult shows) were packed way more than what we typically experience so I wasn’t as much of a fan. They also seemed to scale back the characters, but on the plus side character lines were very short.

I’ve always found the adult version of the shows pretty tame. We aren’t looking for raunchy profanity laced acts, but for adult- only shows they seemed to have just a few double entendres and then a bunch of parenting or marriage jokes. I get it, it’s disney and they will always be very clean cut, but I don’t think they do “adult only” entertainment well enough to make an adult only Cruise fun for our family.

Nope. It wouldnt feel like Disney without all the kids running around. I enjoy the energy the kids bring to the ship. There are plenty of cruise lines geared to adults for half the price.

Not interested. Adult pool would be over run. Now at least many parents are with their children.

I was on the travel agent Fantasy preview cruise. There were barely any children on that cruise and it was so quiet and so boring, LOL! Don't get me wrong. The ship was (IS!) gorgeous and we had a blast, but looking into the kids club and seeing only a handful of children in there felt so strange. I like the child-like vibe on DCL. I love seeing all the kids dressed in their princess costumes, going bonkers in the kids clubs, etc. It makes me feel younger, myself. I also enjoy more "mature" cruise lines, but, when we go DCL, I like to see the excitement and joy of the kids onboard.

I have kids ... and I have nothing against children (in fact, many still consider me as child :duck:), but I think this would be fantastic.

At least we'd know that the fireworks can be lit at 10:30pm ... unless Disney gets too many complaints from people who need to be in bed by 8pm. :drinking::crazy:

Disney would never do it :worship:but we can dream!

This is my feeling, too. I would definitely enjoy going on DCL without my own kids LOL! DH and I plan on cruising DCL together long after our kids are grown and flown. But I still want other kids to be on the ship!

This is my feeling. The best cruises are the longer ones with the 300-500 kids instead of the usual 1200....but no kids? I wouldn't like that. I enjoy their energy, their laughter, and their innocence. I'd never really thought about it, but if their is one thing that will keep me cruising Disney when my kids are gone it will be other peoples kids.

Thinking this might not be a bad idea? Just even once or twice a year? It's fun to see little kids reactions to things BUT adults can be just as enthusiastic. And the lines for the slides would be less. They don't have to change too much at all, really. Maybe a few more adult entertainers. Oh, does this mean we could play in the kids areas?????

I am just curious if anyone things it's a good idea? Don't we often head to the Adults only areas and Serenity Bay?

I will throw in with what others have already said - as much as I love DCL, it just wouldn’t be the same with no kids running around. In fact, I’d go so far as to say it would be “disquieting”.

I'm not interested in paying the Disney markup for an adults only cruise.

I voted yes because of the experience we had on the EBPC. Very few kids, and a lot were international (Australia and NZ) from the ones we met.
With no kids, the family pools would be open for everyone to enjoy. But @smiths02 is probably correct about jacking up the price for just adults.
Look how the member only cruises are higher than a similar all inclusive cruise.

Not for me. Kids are an inherent part of Disney and I just can't imagine a Disney cruise without them. It was close on our WBPC cruise and while we enjoyed a ship that felt only half full, it was still fun to see kids balancing their ice cream cone they just made by themselves or gasping when one of the characters popped out of "nowhere" or even just bouncing down the hallway oblivious to everything around them.

Our youngest is now in their 20s, so we don't have kids around.

It would be a whole different experience, but I would definitely miss the Diaper Dash!!

Yes! If only I could get someone to watch our kids while we go away! Ha...so yeah, probably won't happen ;-)
