Also would a tables of wonder discount apply here?
I did the Star Wars dessert party in early February. Storm Troopers walk around during the party. You are allowed to go get in line to meet Chewie, BB8 and Kylo Ren but they are not party-exclusive. Beer, wine, mixed drinks and then sodas were offered. The desserts included cupcakes, flash fried nutella, brownies, rice crispy treats, cookies and a few other options. They also had pita bread/hummus, grapes, and cheese. After the party, you receive a souvenir cup and then are lead to a private viewing area (standing or sitting on the ground). I enjoyed the party.
Never any discounts for dessert parties or dining packages so that is something easy to remember. Not AP, not TiWAlso would a tables of wonder discount apply here?
You wait with everyoneDo you get front of the line to them or have to wait with everyone else?

Price - $79/$45
Party ends 30 minutes before the show.
Beer and wine have been added.
The Jawas are no longer at the Launch Bay.
Souvenir - Captain Phasma stein.
No wrist bands, it's now a souvenir lanyard with credentials.
In addition:
The 15 minute early admission has been eliminated.
The new viewing area is considered by many not to be as good as the original.
Guests are escorted to the viewing area in time to watch the The Movie Magic projection show.
The party is not as crowded as it was when it first began.
The dessert party is no longer part of the SW Tour.
Regarding the character interaction. The review might give the impression that the character interaction is just for party goers, it's not. It's for everyone and party guests have to get in line along with day guests. You can experience everything in the Launch Bay without attending the party.
The most interesting part is, still it's our favorite of all the dessert parties. So go figureThanks for the replies. With viewing area downgraded, no special access to characters and lack of seating at event not sure if this is worth the price.
My party mostly under 21 and I am not a drinker. I have never been to this party and was just listing the negatives that effect me. As a Grammy seating is desired. LolThe most interesting part is, still it's our favorite of all the dessert parties. So go figure
We like the drinks and the food offerings the best
I do wish they'd move the viewing area back to it's original location though, that would make it perfect
It's never had characters or seating

I'm a grammy but a drinker Drinks trump the lack of seating LOL We lean on the tables. My party mostly under 21 and I am not a drinker. I have never been to this party and was just listing the negatives that effect me. As a Grammy seating is desired. Lol
I like the party part being indoors since we've done it during cold, rain and heat, it's been nice to get out of the elements. We even had to have one of our outdoor parties in the Dis Jr show due to rain. But if we could get anything back, a smaller viewing area back in the original spot would be my preference, since I'm sure they'll never give back that larger area.I wish they'd move the entire party back to the original location.
Been there done that. It's just that the venue is not a happy place. It's too dark and very plain.I like the party part being indoors since we've done it during cold, rain and heat, it's been nice to get out of the elements.
I don't see why not, taking back the old location frees up the space at the current location. A good portion of it is fine for viewing. But if we could get anything back, a smaller viewing area back in the original spot would be my preference, since I'm sure they'll never give back that larger area.
I assume they don't want to give up the old, larger area because it's just that, a larger area. They want to leave the area to fit in more guests to view instead of closing off a portionBeen there done that. It's just that the venue is not a happy place. It's too dark and very plain.

Storm Troopers are not a meet and greet. They roam and don't really stop for photos. It can be possible for you to stand near them when they are moving around and have someone take your photo.Since there’s no special access to meet the characters for party goers, you can go early and meet them, correct?
I’m thinking of doing this on my birthday instead of MNSSHP and just want to make sure I’ll have enough time. A picture with storm troopers and one with Chewie would be a pretty cool 40th present
