We SURVIVED Embarkation Day! Video Diary *ALL DAYS ADDED* Disney Dream Cruise Cabin 6514

We were on a recent double dip and the menu was slightly different on day 2 (at least at Cookies One). The things I noticed were a grilled salmon sandwich instead of the blackened fish. They also did not have the cold tomato/onion salad, but had a greek salad instead (tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, olives). The desserts were also slightly different. The pineapple cake was replaced with a pineapple/raspberry cake. There may have been other differences as well that I didn't notice.
I also noticed that there was a blueberry and banana ice cream machine. I didn't notice this on the ship. We did serenity bay for lunch on the second day so I can't compare the two menus.

Thanks for sharing the videos. We stayed in the same room. I loved the amount of space in the room.
We stayed in a similar room on deck 5 on the Fantasy so when we found out the Dream was a sister ship we made sure to get one of these types of rooms. We don't get a verandah, but we are OK with that.

I just posted Day 4 at Serenity Bay and Pirate Night Fireworks!

I am not able to post the next video in the original post. You can only link to 5 pieces of media in a post. I am going to post the final video from our trip here. I appreciate all the feedback and I hope everyone has enjoyed watching these as much as we had making them.

Your girls are adorable! My dd would have been a mess if she had to get up that early, so would I, lol. How did you like having just 1 bathroom vs the split bathrooms? My dd LOVED the tracing table on the Fantasy. Great video!
I actually would catch them napping in the mornings or late at night in the portholes. We would wake up and when one was done getting dressed they would go lay in the portholes until the rest of us were dressed. So sometimes they would just doze off.

The single bathroom wasn't that bad for us since my kids are young. When they get older and need to do hair and makeup I don't think it would work too well.

Hey, we were on the same cruise! Looking at your videos makes me feel like I am back there. I may be in your video when you were at Serenity Bay. My husband and I went there as well and were hanging out on the raft. I was on the raft and he was in the water making sure I didn't float away. I loved the Bay but it was hard to get in and out as it was really shelly and rocky. Also really hot on that side of the island, didn't seem as breezy as the family beach. Thanks for posting these, brings back great memories. I need to buy a GoPro!!!

That is AWESOME! I have been contacted by several folks who have said that were on the same cruise and were in the videos. I enjoyed our cruise and have enjoyed sharing the videos with everyone. It is crazy how small the world can get through technology.

I'm not 100% but am pretty sure the rooms with the divider only sleep 3, the pole rooms sleep 4.
Our room had a bunk that would come down from the ceiling. It was really only suitable for a kid. The mattress wasn't very thick. The couch would turn into a bed, but not like I was used to. The back of the couch folded down onto the cushions making a single bed. This was much more comfortable that the top bunk in my opinion. So technically the pole room could sleep 4, but that 4th person better be a small kid. :)
