scare actors on the queue which scared the S**T out of the very grown-up adult macho male walking behind me that he practically jumped onto me (no it was not Steve). LOL. He screamed and leaped, it was rather funny.

I must say though, after the trip, my hair looks like it did in the Before picture, haha. All the heat, chlorine, sun, and saltwater really did a number on my hair (and skin)

After my two trips in one month, my hairdresser just had to chop off a couple inches yesterday. What was the word he used??? Oh yes, "Ratty."

My BIL Marc picked us up from our house and sent us to the airport for our 9am flight. I didn't book a crazy early flight because I've learned from past trips that we're always so exhausted with early flights and since we had an event that night I didn't get one that was too early. 9am was just right. Here we are at the airport:

9am sounds good to me. In April we were supposed to leave on a 5am flight and I changed it when I realized we'd literally have to leave for the airport at 2:30am

It was crowded so thank goodness for pre-check.

Worth every penny

We were surprised with a very large suite-like room with a kitchen and living room. I think all the rooms here have a kitchenette in any case.

We arrived and took the escalator up to city walk, went through security and entered. I like how the security is at the city walk area and so you only have to check your bags once and you don't have to do it again when going to either of the parks.

That is very nice and makes it all the more annoying when you have to go through security twice to get to EPCOT

It was ok. The potatoes were undercooked, and the sausages lacked flavor. I have decided the food at Leaky Cauldron is just not that great.

I found that most of the food in UO is not that great

We're going on the Chunky (Hogwarts) Express!

We thought we'd get our own car but we shared with another couple. Still didn't stop us from taking pictures.

I've never ridden the HE where they didn't pack us in Cute photos though!

He had to make it into this trip somehow

Steve met me at the holding area and we rode the hulk. I really enjoy this coaster a lot! It's smooth and controlled and honestly it's not that scary after you ride it, and I am a bit of a chicken sometimes.

I'm a ride chicken but now that I have ridden all the scary rides at WDW, I was ready to tackle this one next but then we cancelled our UO portion of our trip. I need to go with my kids because they love all the big coasters and I don't think I could do this one by myself

YES THEY DID I loved that ride and wasn't happy when they got rid of it. Jaws himself is still there, hanging on a dock by the water for pictures lol but sadly that's it.

but those I really do like: Gingotts, MIB, ET, Hulk and Spiderman. I'd probably focus my time on just doing those multiple times. Oh and the Dr. Seuss train!

I agree with all of these although Spiderman also makes me a tad nauseous.

I know, right!! There were so many people I didn't get the chance to hang out with as much as I wanted to. Everyone on the trip though was super sweet, and I'm in awe how this whole trip worked out. I really hope we do it again someday... This whole DIS group is something special.

I am honestly amazed that everything worked out so well too! I mean the weather didn't cooperate at some times, haha, but overall it was such a wonderful trip! I wish we spent more time together! Next time I will have to come join you Wilderness Gals Gone Wild.

What a great first day to kick off your trip! Looks like you had a pretty successful night at the Orlando Informer Event. It's funny that you mention about the scare actors in the Kong queue because my sister was in FL at the end of April right before y'all and she rode Kong, went through the queue and everything and said there weren't any scare actors so I thought it was done. But for you there were. I wonder if it's hit or miss hmmmm Also love all the Potter wear and yes, Steve is correct, Ravenclaw is for intellectuals (but Slytherins are easily just as smart hehe)

It's hard to see and you can only take a picture from a certain angle to get a good view, which means the person taking the picture has to be like 10 people behind you. So it usualyl doesn't work on a regular day when there are long lines, so we took advantage of the no lines to do so.

Oh totally, Epcot has the most annoying security and there are only like 5 lines for thousands of people.

It is not! We haven't been to any sit down places in the parks though. We went to one at Citywalk, Cowfish, and it was good but not great.

I think Luke had... three of these on this trip? At one point while I was supervising some face painting, he disappeared with Melinda’s R and they both came back drinking one

Technically I did buy 3. But I traded 1 for a German Weissbeer and a firm handshake (after proof of over 21 was shown with 2 pieces of government issued ID and/or a Costco card).
