The Disney Society Orchestra, better known as the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra, played a short-lived show at Disney's Hollywood Studios before being laid off after 32 years of playing together at Walt Disney World. The set features music from around the park, including hits from Beauty and the Beast, Star Wars, The Muppets, The Little Mermaid, and Monsters, Inc. Their final performance was on October 3, 2020.

It's sad to see that they are now gone. Stopping at the Grand Floridian and getting a drink at Mizner's while listening to the Orchestra was always a 'must do' for our trips. They will be missed.
