Vero beach

Does anyone know if my husband can fish if he brings his poles?

Sure he can.

My son fishes all the time at Vero. You can fish right off of the beach, or there are several fishing locations on the causeway on the way to the resort. There is also fishing at Sebastian Inlet State Park, about 10 miles away (head north out of the resort).

There is also fresh water fishing in the lake accross from the Inn.
