What's the best way to get to/from Dodger Stadium from the LA Live area? We have a hotel for the night in the LA Live area. We will also have a rental car, but wasn't sure if best way to get there would be to drive.

We are going to a game on a Saturday afternoon, starts around 5:15. THere are five of us (three kids, two still in boosters).

I did see that, but what’s the best way to get to union station? I’m not at all familiar with the area so I don’t know what’s doable, what’s safe, etc.

Metro Rail is the best way to get to Union Station.

Metro Red, Gold, and Purple Lines all stop at Union. The Expo and Blue Lines stop at 7th street metro where you can transfer to the Purple and Red Lines to union.

The Blue Line runs along Flower St. Is your hotel close to that street? If so, take the Blue line to the Red (or Purple - they both use the same track) to Union Station.

We are at the residence inn. Or that’s what I have picked for now since it fits all five of us and gets decent reviews.

It’s just hard to figure out the best way to do this with the kids.

I think the best way to do this with kids is to drive. You'll hit the usual traffic, but probably better than negotiating the subway and shuttle.

With the kids and wanting to keep them in boosters I'd just drive. There will probably be traffic, but it's not too bad a drive and the stadium has plenty of parking.

Thanks! My plan all along was to drive. Then when I was researching dodger stadium to figure out where to get seats, I came across a few people saying how the parking lot was bad, damaged cars, etc. I think I may be overthinking this!

The parking lot can be a pain to get out of because of how it feeds out compared to the ease of leaving Angels stadium. My recommendation is either to leave right before the game ends or hang back at least 20-30 minutes after the game ends and traffic should be less crazy.
