Anyone visit the Tiffany's on the Fantasy? Wondering if it's just a selection of what you'd find in a regular store if there's something unique about the onboard shop.

Thanks

I visited Tiffany on the Fantasy, just your usual selection, nothing unique.

Yeah I thought there'd be maybe a few exclusive Disney/Mickey/princess-themed pieces, but no there wasn't anything Disney-related when we visited last September. I think there was some complimentary champagne event there one of the days, but really we found Tiffany's a bit stuffy and out of place on the Fantasy.

We enjoyed that space much more before, when it was a Disney art gallery with many whimsical paintings (among them, one was a clue for the Midship Detective Agency game - now that was a well thought-out detail that we had really appreciated).

Maybe I'm not classy enough to get it, but what's the point of putting it on the ship if there are no special DCL or Disney themed items to select from? If it is just any regular Tiffany's then did their research indicate that DCLers on avg enjoy Tiffany's more than the avg basic jewelry store? I just don't get it I suppose

We were on the ship after Thanksgiving last year and didn't see anything unique. But we were surprised with how many people were always in there when we walked by.

When we sailed after dry dock, everyone was like where is the Disney stuff. No Disney stuff. They said maybe later. Well that apparently still hasn't come up. I wonder if there is an issue with Pandora about it. But yea. Tiffany's seems like it has enough foot traffic. Good for those who want it. It isn't for me or my family though. To be fair the art was more fun to look at even if I wasn't buying it.

Tip. You can still see the art outside of the Enchanted Garden and you can still purchase it while onboard

We were there a few weeks ago. Standard Tiffany's fare. Of note, before our Remy dinner, we received an invitation to have an escorted visit to Tiffany's with champagne (& non-alcoholic sparkling wine). It was fun; me in my tux & DW in her gown discussing products, designs and whatnot whilst sipping champagne before our 3 Star dinner. Made for a great date

We went in for a second in October, boy it was busy. They had little blue tiffany box shaped cakes they were giving out.
Nope, couldn't get him to buy me anything.:(

We didn't see any Disney items in November; that was the only reason we went in to look.

Hi: There was a little piece custom to the cruise/cruise line. I don't have a picture of it, but I believe it had a Tiffany heart and a Disney cruise medallion together. Everything else was standard fare.

I think the brand recognition and image drives it. Tiffany's is the most famous store of its kind in the world, it projects an image of luxury, and if you don't live in or near a major city, you may not have ever been in one before.

It's a good fit for Tiffany's to be on DCL, they have a captive better-than-average-income audience. There are not a lot of stores onboard and cruise people on a whole have a little extra coin. I will take a look, but no plans to buy :). I would rather have the art.

My guess will be MONEY. Money, money, money. For both DCL and Tiffany’s.

The one I saw was a picture taken by someone who bought it on the ship. I was wondering price as well if anyone knows.

I was wondering if their prices are comparable to what their stateside stores charge? There are often many couples celebrating an anniversary or someone's birthday on their cruise, so I would think that they are trying to appeal to those guests to buy a "trinket"(albeit, expensive trinket) to bring home to remember that special birthday or anniversary from their cruise. Just a thought!

Prices were exactly the same as stateside.
