Yoga at Serenity Bay is adult-only and free.

I think the beer tasting is $20 or $25.

Any snacks served with the beer tasting???

How is the yoga? Taught by an athletic director on the ship? certified in yoga? relaxing?

DH does yoga (as pp stated-free) every time we're at Castaway Cay. He enjoys it and the sand aspect makes it more challenging (for some poses anyway).

Taught by one of the two gym staff...depending on which one the level of training varies, I suppose. It isn't anything too extreme but free is free and he always feels it's worth the 30 or 40 minutes.

    I prefer to nap on a hammock m'self :)

I did yoga on the boat once and it was not a good experience because of the woman who led the class. She would have led the group on the beach as well. I think it depends on the instructor on the boat.

Fair enough...and makes sense...it's been awhile since I've done yoga and miss it...The teacher could make all the difference!

One other question...What beers are in the tasting?

I just did the beer tasting on the Fantasy and there were 5 beers total. I think it changes based on who you have, we had a Red Stripe in or tasting but he said he picked it because he was from Jamaica. None of the beers were anything too great but it was still a good time. The only "snack" was a tiny plate of pretzel crisps to share amongst 4 people, about 2 crisps per person. I'm glad I did it once but wouldn't do it again. The mixology was a lot more fun and I think the same price ($20).

I was looking at current navigators and I didn’t see yoga except Castaway Cay. Do they do yoga on the ship?

Yes, on some cruises they do. I think it tends to be relatively early in the morning.

What time is yoga typically at Castaway Cay? Does it overlap with the 5k?

Well, a recent Fantasy cruise has "Yoga on the Beach" at 11:00 am on Castaway Cay day.
