There Seems To Be a Lot of Renting Questions

Is it me or has there been a recent increase in questions on renting on the boards?

There do seem to be a lot of rental questions -- especially from new owners thinking of renting for the first time. I'm guessing that it has to do with the promotional "Double Developer Points" that were being offered. Some probably took the points, thinking they would rent them to partially defray their buyin cost.

We had a lot of the same types of questions when they offered 100 points (or was it 120?) to buy SSR during a promotion.

By the way, we purchase a National parks pass every year as Antietam partners.

I know that's exactly what happened to us. We got developer points that we just couldn't use. Crazy as it sounds, we just were going to have too many points! We rented out the points for the first, and probably only, time ever. It made me nuts to do it and MS made me feel like a criminal, so not likely to do it again anytime soon!
