The Princesses & The Dog: Our Tail-Wagging Magical Adventure
Well, fancy seeing you here! To all of my long-time readers, hello again! and to anybody who has just stumbled upon these crazy accounts of my Disney trips, WELCOME!
I do believe some introductions are in order!

Hi again, my name is Hollye I am your narrator! This is my 5th TR here on the Dis and my 7th visit to WDW! If you ever see me in real-life basically everything I touch is Disney-fied. I am hopelessly obsessed with Disney from the movies to the parks and everything in between! One day, it is my dream to work for Disney and hopefully do the Disney College Program. I just love the company that Walt created so many years ago and how much joy it brings into people's lives. I am now a Sophomore in college and spend most of my free time working at a doggie-bakery (gotta pay for Disney somehow right?! :p ) or hanging out with my friends or dreaming about another Disney trip.
    Rachel
If you read my last report (here's the link if you haven't) Rachel is my resident Disney buddy! She is actually the one responsible for starting my whole WDW obsession back in 2013. Since then, most of our conversations are comprised mostly of Disney. Since you've last seen her in my TR, she is now ENGAGED (Ahhh!!). This is her last Disney trip before she gets married this summer!
    Marilyn
This was very special trip for Marilyn because it was her VERY FIRST DISNEY TRIP EVER. Marilyn has never been a fan of people in costumes so she never came to Disney as a kid. Even though they still aren't her favorite, after hearing Rachel and I go on and on about Disney, she decided that she wanted to come and see it for herself. Rachel and I know her though our college ministry and thought she was the perfect person to bring along! Her and I stayed together for most of the trip, I had sooo much fun showing her all my must-do Disney things!
    Momma Hart
This is Rachel's Mom and basically feels like my second Mother, she is also a huge Disney fan! Originally, this trip was going to be Rachel, Marilyn and I. Then Rachel and her Mom decided that they wanted to go to Disney and she probably wouldn't be able to come with us. Once they booked their trip, Marilyn and I decided on a week to go and it ended up being on the exact same week that Rachel and her Mom were going. We decided that it would be so much cheaper if we all booked a trip together! Momma Hart probably knows the most about Disney than any of us so I was glad to have her with us! She also kept us in line because when you put Rachel, Marilyn, and I together- there's no telling what can happen :rotfl2:
    Flynn
Last but not least, FLYNN! Yes, he was named after Flynn Rider (who else?!). Flynn is Rachel's service-dog-in-training, he was just a baby puppy when we came to Disney in January but now he's a 10-month old adorable pup. Even though he's still in training, he would never believe it- he is such a good boy! Rachel has an autoimmune disorder called POTS that he is being trained to alert her when an episode is coming on. Disney is the ultimate test for a dog training in him and he passed with flying colors.

Just a couple more details about our trip before we officially get started:
    When: November 14th-17th, 2017
Where: Disney's All Star Sports Resort
Why: A little Disney getaway to escape school and the cold weather at home!

We were able to score free Disney Dining but upgraded from the Value Resort Dining Plan to the Moderate one so we could have Table Service meals!

"Look Mom, I Can See Your Phone From Here!"

We begin our story very early on Tuesday morning. I woke up around 7am and got ready and finished packing. I then headed over to Rachel's house across town and got there around 9, she was at class with Flynn so I came in and watched my online lecture. Somebody wasn't too excited that they had to go to class before leaving to see the mouse.
Soon after, Marilyn and Rachel came back and I painted their nails before her Mom got there. Then we packed everything up in Momma Hart's van. Somebody was ready to go!
We of course had to stop at McDonald's on the way (who goes on a road trip and doesn't eat McDonald's?) and drove a little over and hour to the airport. We parked and waited for our shuttle to come get us and take us to the airport. Between all of our bags and Flynn's things, we had our hands full and were trying to juggle a million things. Not only that, we were starting to cut it a little close to our boarding time. As soon as we got settled on the shuttle, Momma Hart realized that she left her wallet in the van. She had to jump off and find it and said she would catch another shuttle. As soon as she got off, Rachel realized that her mom's phone was also still in the van. She tried to call her a couple times but it kept going to voicemail.

We eventually got to the check-in counter to check Flynn's crate and Momma Hart came in soon after with her wallet. Rachel asked her if she grabbed her phone and she said that she had put it in the backpack that Rachel was wearing. After they searched through the backpack, they realized that her phone was still sitting on the center console of the car. Sadly, we didn't have time to go get it so she would have to remain phone-less. I felt so bad, heaven knows I wouldn't survive Disney without my phone!

Marilyn and I headed into the bathroom before we went through security mainly because I was getting very anxious about going through security for no good reason but I was wearing a belt and I wanted to put it in my bag before I went through. We snapped this picture before we left. I though I would include it so you guys could get an idea of the craziness that ensued on this trip. :rotfl2:
I seriously had nothing to worry about, we breezed through security and headed to our gate. For anyone curious, we flew with Frontier who have amazingly cheap flights to MCO!

The service dog relief area was located near our gate so Rachel took Flynn there to potty before we got on our plane. We sat down next to many other families who were headed to Disney. As can be expected, having Flynn around is a pretty great conversation starter. We talked to this particular family who were Disney regulars like us, but hadn't been able to go to Disney in a few years. I always love feeding off of other people's Disney excitement and asking them what they plan on doing in the parks.

After about 30 minutes of waiting, we boarded our plane! Thanks to Flynn we got to board first so he could get settled. Rachel took the window seat and tucked Flynn underneath her seat. I sat next to her and Marilyn was beside me. Momma Hart sat in the seat across the aisle from us. Our flight took off around 2:30.
Flynn was an absolute dream (no surprise) and basically slept the whole flight!
We passed the time by listening to Taylor Swift's new album and Moana music and laughing way too much at stupid things. As we were taking off, Rachel was looking out the window and goes "I can see so much from up here! Look Mom, I can see your phone from here!" LOL Rachel's Mom didn't think that was as funny as we did.:rotfl:
Flynn kept popping his head up periodically for some love before settling back down for a nap.
At some point on the flight, we thought it would be funny if we attached everyone's bands to my arm. Rachel said "Now maybe you'll get places on time" :rotfl2: If you know my family, sometimes we tend to arrive places a littler later than everyone else.
After a 2-hour flight, we touched down in MCO around 4pm and hopped off the plane.
We got stuck with a huge mass of people exiting the terminal so Marilyn took it upon herself to make sure Flynn's tail wasn't stepped on in the commotion.
We had to head down to baggage claim and grab a suitcase and Flynn's crate. Somehow his crate didn't make it on the carousel so we had to go hunt down the Frontier counter to see if it was on the oversized luggage carousel. At some point as we were rushing back and fourth, we found an employee pushing a cart of stuff with Flynn's crate on it. We stopped him and he helped us grab it but somehow another person's luggage fell off the cart as we did this and a piece popped off of it. The poor arline employee just kind of sighted and tried to piece it back together. Another employee came up to see if he needed help and the guy just goes "I need a hug". All of us were like "AWWW", we felt so bad for him. Hopefully his day picked up after that.

After we collected our bags, we headed back to terminal B to get to the Magical Express area. As we stepped in our elevator, the excitement overcame us and we began singing the Mickey Mouse song. We belted out the final words of the song as our elevator doors opened and the family passing by gave us the WEIRDEST look. We had no shame though, we were going to DISNEY WORLDDDD

Once we got to the Magical Express counter, we basically walked right onto a bus and left the airport in no time. Rachel and I had just been reminiscing about our ME driver in January who said "Coooooooronodo SPRINGS!" In such a cute way. Well, guess what?! WE HAD THE SAME DRIVER! Oh my gosh, we freaked out, we were so hype! That guy is GREAT.

Of course, we were trying to get to our resort in 5 o' clock traffic so if felt like an eternity before we made it on property but eventually we pulled up to All Star Sports and went inside to check in!

Oh, I wouldn't have been able to handle it! I had a point when my phone almost died and I broke my charging cable, so I actually bought a second FuelRod system for $30 rather than go without a phone for a few hours!
    Cutie!
    Very smart!
    Aww-did he get the hug?
    Awesome coincidence!

What Can I Say? We're Obsessed With AoA
Once we got to our hotel, Rachel went to the front desk to check-in and ask about the pet relief areas. It seemed like she was up there standing forever! She finally finished up and we took our bags to our room. Funnily enough, we were in the exact same building and same floor that Rachel and I stayed on in January! As we walked you our door, we noticed a family had decorated the window of their room with red Christmas lights. I always love to see how people decorate their windows, I think it makes it feel more homey.
We finally arrived to our room and dropped our bags and threw some things into our backpacks and turned right back around and left our room. In the commotion I managed to take some pictures.
Here's Marilyn with her 1st Visit button that Rachel grabbed for her at the front desk.
Rachel tied his new bandana around Flynn's neck that she had made for him, isn't it so cute?
For this night we had planned to resort hop and go to the outlet malls, we had originally thought we should go to the outlets first but we hadn't eaten since 11am that morning and it was now around 6pm- needless to say, we were VERY hungry. SO, after letting Flynn go potty, we hopped on a bus to Animal Kingdom and back onto an Art of Animation bus!

Considering we had to go to a park before we could get to an AoA bus, we made it there really quick! we came in through the gift shop and went straight into Landscape of Flavors. We wanted to come here because A. I had never visited this resort and B. Their food always has amazing reviews!
There were so many different food options we had a hard time choosing but finally Marilyn and I chose to get Mexican food and Rachel and her mom went for Italian. While I was getting my food, I spoke to the CM because I noticed he was on his College Program. I asked him if he was enjoying it and he said he liked it for the most part, but he told us that Landscape of Flavors was the 3rd busiest quick service food location in all of Disney World!

We paid for our food and grabbed a seat, I decided to get a Chicken Quesadilla with Mexican Rice.
Marilyn got a combo with Steak Tacos, Chicken Quesadillas, and Mexican Rice!
We both really liked what we got, I was surprised you got so much food in a meal, I didn't really pay attention to the price because we were on the dining plan but I remember my meal being like $7-$8- not bad!

Rachel and her mom got kids meals; Rachel got Chicken Parmesan with a side of go-go squeeze and chocolate pudding. Momma Hart got a slice of pizza with a Caesar salad and chocolate pudding!
They both liked their meals too, that is quite a bit of food for a kid's meal!

After we finished eating, we decided to head to the bathroom before we went outside to explore! As soon as we walked out in the lobby, we all realized how GOOD it smelled in there. I usually think Disney Resort smells are more subtle but oh my gosh, it smelled FANTASTIC in there:lovestruc

We headed to the bathroom which was ADORABLE. We honestly shouldn't have even been surprised. Everything in it was pink and Ariel themed! They had sweet christmas music that had all the beach-y vibes.
We stepped back out into the lobby to take some more pictures
    [IMG]
Ugh, the theming in this place is so beautiful
    [IMG]
They had these back-lit pictures on the wall that looked like strips of film with concept art on them. I asked Rachel to take my picture of me with them, while I was trying to look all cool, this DVC CM walked up behind us and was giving me all kinds of looks. :rotfl:

The DVC CM ended up striking a conversation with us and we probably spoke with him for 20 minutes or so. He had nearly convinced us to go on a DVC tour the next day but we realized we really couldn't sacrifice on hour of our time since we were only in the parks for such a short time! Nevertheless, it was still fun getting to talk to Mr. Pin-credible (as he referred to himself as after pin trading with me lol). Also, after finding out that Rachel was soon to be married, he asked her if her fiancé was her Winnie-the-boo:rotfl2: That one was definitely something we quoted through our trip!

After that, we realized we really needed to hurry up and explore the resort so we could get to the outlets before they closed. The first section on our exploration was the Cars section!
We loved jumping around on the spongy ground that was supposed to feel like sand haha
    [IMG]
Of all the sections in this resort, I was most excited to see Radiator Springs, especially the Cozy Cone- SO CUTE
    [IMG]
Flynn on the other hand, didn't seem too impressed:confused3
    [IMG]
I honestly couldn't get over how I felt like I was in the movie!
The wind was so intense and cold, we were all beginning to get pretty chilly (As you can see my my hair flying everywhere, haha)
As you can tell, we were very excited to be in Disney and got a little picture happy
We tried to put Flynn in Mater's trunk but he didn't seem to like that idea...
    Look at these cuties:blush:
Are you sick of pictures yet?

Ooooh hi, Hollye! I didn't realize you'd started another TR! I just got caught up. Flynn is so adorable!! I'm always so in love-at-first-sight with service dogs and I have to remind myself not to just go up and attack them with love and kisses while they're working. Looking forward to seeing what you and Rachel got up to this time, and to getting to know the rest of your crew. :)
