Wow..I never even knew of this type of plan. So, for a fee you get unlimited use of the bikes and watermice during your stay?? I tried looking at page 1...but am unsure of the price of the "unlimited" package.
LisaRN
The old plan that you could purchase has been discontinued. As it has been discontinued I removed the price until they hopefully bring it back. Until then the Unlimited Offers are available by booking the Disney's Premium Plan it is part of a package that includes almost everything. (Dining and Recreation).

As I'm a DVC Member, Florida resident and purchase an AP each year I never pay rack rate for a room, so when it comes to packages I am clueless.

YES thanks i wanted to know that
I like the boat but sometimes it just take forever

Yep...I agree. Going to MK I want to get there as fast as I can. Coming back to WL from MK I take the boat. The ride helps you unwind for a long day at the park.

is anyone else gonna be home from august 13 thru the 23rd
i would love to meet up with some fellow disers and wl lovers?

I'm fascinated by the discussion of boat vs bus to MK. When we were there a few weeks ago, we never once took the bus to MK, and the boat never seemed like it was a long wait! How can ya pass up such beautiful surroundings in favor of a bus?! Then again, I'm the kid that walked 2 miles to school rather than take the bus. :)

I've read through *most* of the posts on this thread, & have found bits & pieces, but not a direct answer to this question:

What views are available from the deluxe rooms?--specific details would be great.

We are planning a January trip & would love the extra space, but want to weigh all the factors before investing the extra $$$ in the room.

THANKS!

Hi, I am just subscribing! We are thinking of staying here next April when we come with my mom and daughter! I am excited! WL is just breathtaking!

I believe all the deluxe rooms would be considered courtyard views. the deluxe rooms are located at the very ends of both wings and also in the middle section where the wings zig zag (hope you inderstand my technical term there) :) Some of the deluxe rooms at the end of the wings will give you great lake views.

Thank you tardin1964--anyone know what I should say in a request to get the lake views--do you think "lake view" is specific enough? Would the North wing have any chance of catching some Wishes fireworks? & is it right to assume that a lake view would be able to see the water parade?

Thanks for listening to & hopefully answering my many questions!!!

Hi all , I have not posted in a while, we returned from Disney from an 11 night stay @ the WL, we had a great time, and our room / view was wonderful. The room was deluxe inner courtyard view, with views of the water fall, pool and lake, 5th floor. We also found a Great view of wishes at the end of our floor hall looking out of a big window facing the MK, you can stand there and see the entire show, from the 5th or 6th floor looking out of the big window with the large wooden shutters, that do open and close. Any ? :confused3 Just ask , this was our 14th trip to WDW.

Yes i am also staying concierge. I am very excited. I have been dealing with Brandon and he is amazing. I have read this thread and everything else I can find out about the lodge. I stayed there back in 2004 and was blown away DH and kids werent with me. Shawn my 7 year old is very excited. My kids are 7 and 2 and there is at least one morning when Dh is taking Shawn to the water park and I will be solo with my 2.5 year old. I would love to meet up and chat more about the lodge or even maybe meet at a park.

I'm sure that some morning we can both enjoy our breakfast up in Concierge and have a chat.. we will have to PM each other and work out a specific time :) I always hate to meet at parks..as my family is a "commando" type of family..and they hate when I say wait..we have to wait for a minute, I'm trying to find someone :confused3 You really will love the WL Concierge..Brandon helped us last time, he's very nice..most recently I have been emailing with Trish and Lynette. I wonder what happened to Jeffrey?? He was spectacular last trip!

Not sure about the view from the north wing being able to see wishes. There are a lot of trees in that area and I think the angle of the rooms at the end of the wing face away from MK. Someone else should confirm this if they can.

I requested a Courtyard view with bunks. Last December we arrived around 11:30 am (this was week before Christmas)..and our room was ready. And I got my requests. Jeffrey met us as we stepped out of our car and escorted us up to the 7th floor. My kids thought it was the coolest thing in the world to be able to put their "key" in the elevator to get to the floor..btw  Anyway, we were told to go put our things down and get settled and come back to the concierge desk when we were ready to get our keys/tickets/paperwork. Took us about 15 minutes and we were on our way. Then they showed us the lounge and gave us a card with the times for refreshments and snacks each day. Each morning when we would leave they would ask us where we were going for the day..and then when we returned they asked us how we enjoyed that particular park. They always asked us in the morning if we had any dining arrangements or if they could call and make any for us.. also asked if we knew what time the park was open until that day, parade times etc.

OK, Lisa and Kelly,

You guys are killing me!! Reading all your posts makes me want to go back so bad, and we were just there. ;)

You both sound so excited. I am so happy for you and hope you have a "pixie dust" filled time. :goodvibes

By the way with the rooms, the CL cast members will do everything in their power to have your room ready when you get there. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met and will go well above the "call of duty" to make your stay "magical". :wizard:

i just got an email from brandon about a adr we wanted but that was full
he got it for us
shawns gonna be so excited!!
Brandon said he requested a great room for us so I am not worried.
Do you need a key to access the 7th floor all the time?

Congratulations!!

Yes, your room keys are the access key for the 7th floor.

As a side note: Beware of the middle elevator in the lobby. When we were there it wouldn't connect when we inserted the key sometimes. I hope they will fix it by the time you guys get there.
