Does The Edison have nightly entertainment or is it only weekend nights?

They do, but it's more scaled back on weeknights. Last time we went on a weeknight, there was a band playing, but no aerialist or burlesque. Smaller crowd and much mellower than on weekends.

When does the bar close on weeknights? All I can find is dinner hours.

We were there on a Thursday and they had a jazz style band and a woman walking around on stilts.

We went on Thursday and they had a band and stilt walker. Monday they had nothing and it is as totally dead. Closed at 1am but a few smaller bars shut at half 10.

How does the cover fee work on the weekends? Do they charge when you come in or add to the bill? If you came in at 9:45 (cover fee starts at 10 according to website) and stayed until 1am, would you be charged? Also, do you need reservations/adr for night entertainment?

If you arrive before 10, you won’t be charged a cover. I would recommend reservations, as it gets very busy on the weekends. (Open Table is a good choice versus ADR, because you can cancel and change up until last minute with no fee). Do note, some tables on the dance floor are first come, first served, and some are also cleared off the dance floor around 10 when they transition to the live entertainment. Some of the upstairs balcony tables actually have better views of the aerliast, stage, etc. than the ground floor spots.

Thanks for the tip about Open Table. It was wide open for my date coming up on a Friday, so I booked 9:15 and will cancel my 9:00 ADR. Not 100% sure we will feel like going after a day at AK!

I was trying to find this online and believe their site says entertainment is Thur - Sun only.

Last time I was there was Monday September 10, and there was a live band playing. Not sure if scheduling has changed since then or what.

From what I’ve read, there is live music and dancing every night. But the special entertainment-aerialist, stilts, burlesque, etc are from Thurs-Sun. My friend and I had to reschedule our day to make sure we’d get to see the fun stuff!

Is there bar seating? Can you see entertainment from there?

That makes sense as I was looking for the aerialist and burlesque stuff.
