The CCS Virtual Scrapbook! Will unstick on 4/30/2013

Hi Scrappers!

I thought it would be a really cool thing if the CCS board had their own "Virtual Scrapbook". A place to post pictures of your scrapping handiwork to inspire others and to show off your creativity and hard work.

Only a couple of guidelines. First that you make sure that the image is a reasonable size and does not alter the size of the thread by being too large. Second, if for some reason your image is no longer available and appears as a red "x" for more than 48 hours, we will remove the post so that visitors to our virtual scrapbook will not have to scroll through a bunch of red "x"s. If you have a problem with an image and are able to fix it after the post has been taken down, you are more than welcome to repost your image to the thread. As I go through the thread to update the index, if I find the red "x", I'll delete the "x" but leave the posting.

If you would like to tell the story behind your scrapping or the pictures that you post, that would add a wonderful element to the book!

Here are 2 pages I did last month at a CM Croptoberfest. I'm not all that thrilled with the final results, although that's basically what I'd planned. They just never seem to look as nice as what I'm imagining.

I've used that paper before-it was for some of our summer activities, like Grandfather Mtn. I really like it and it's so appropriate for those pics! Looks really good, can't wait to see more!

Thanks everybody! I don't know why the quality of those pix is so bad. The camera usually does really well.

I don't know if you can see it or not, but those small rectangles have a tree brad on them. I really like them.

I also did a 2pg LO for the Jungle Cruise, but I still need to print out some of those corny jokes to use on it. I didn't journal that one & don't think I will. I think the corny jokes kind of say it all.

Patty I love your pages! But then I always do! Your pages have those touches that really finish them off...the ribbon, fiber, vellum cut-out frames....that's what I always think is missing from mine.

I think my favorite, though, are the Mickey part rub-ons on the letters of "First Haircut"! Too cute!

I really only have CJ pix's and I saw that Patty had hers on photobucket - so I went there....any way...here goes!

Next 2 pages - the one on the left was left blank so I could include a picture of the 11/11/06 Cruisers with their CJs onboard the Magic.

My pages - I chose the topic "A Day on Land, A Day at Sea" This is a little 'busier' then I normally like but there was a LOT to say....there is hidden journaling on both pages.
The PALO pix is of the DIS friends I met on the cruise meet board....I went to DVC in October with several of them and we are cruising again in 2 weeks and next year!
Not ONE was an Axe Murderer !!!

And you know, sometimes it's those after thoughts that really "make" a page/project. Those are the things that I like so much in other peoples albums but have so much trouble with myself. They really seem to finish the pages. I'm not really unhappy with my own pages, they just lack something...and I really think it's those "little extras".

I just put this on 2 peas...This is the one using the bear paper piratesmate used-I also used the bear eyelets that she so helpfully pointed me to on bargainpack!

Do you guys have any tips on how to photograph layouts? Mine ALWAYS have a glare.
