What is the weather like at the end of March? Is it too hot, too cold, or too rainy for tent camping?

LeahA - i am very interested in the same info, so i will bump this post up a bit and keep it in clear view hoping someone who has info for us will respond.

(we were thinking of camping in early Feb, but are a bit shy of the increased posibility of very chilly temps. - will try for mid March.)

Really hard to predict though. It is normally in the mid to lower 70's for the highs and down to 50's for lows. As for rain that is normally a dryer season for us, but then again you will never know with the liquid sunshine that we have here.

RobertWalker,

Thank you! We are deciding if we want to attempt camping at Disney. We're afraid that with all the parks we won't enjoy the campground, and then since we're soooo close to the action, how can we not indulge!

We usually go the 3rd week of March, as that is when our two boys have their school vacation. We usually expect the highs to be in the mid 70s, sometimes in the 80s, but the evenings are usually cool, in the low 50s. A few times the lows got in the upper 40s. (Certainly beats the weather at home in CT). This past March we were lucky and had temps in the low 90s during the day, and mid 60s at night, but this was not the ordinary.

When we go out on the evening, we always bring a sweater or light jacket, unless the weather person says otherwise.
