Southern Caribbean?

We usually book an early to mid afternoon flight out of San Juan. We are usually at the airport before noon. The three times we disembarked at San Juan, we find our luggage, get a porter, and breeze right through the customs line. Porters know how to expedite you through, because they make their money by how many times they can load their luggage rack. The quicker they are, the more I tip. Also remember that you have to put your luggage through agricultural inspection at the airport. Twice we were randomly selected to have our luggage searched.

we'll be boarding the AoS end of April, followed by a week at Universal/Disney.

Knowing she's going into drydock in the fall, expect the usual things that need fine-tuned. Such a port-intensive itinerary, won't be spending much time aboard but looking forward to ice show, comedy club & MDR:) As for the promenade parade...who can resist a good YMCA sing along lol.

Touring Old San Juan can easily take up better part of two days precruise, so interesting! love it there

We like the Caribe Hilton, usually can find a great deal using points.

I did - girls trip out of San Juan on the Jewel of the Seas. LOVED IT! We did Aruba, Curacao, St Kitts, and St. Thomas. We did catamaran and snorkel plus the forts in San Juan, scuba in Aruba, walking tour and caves on Curacao, 4 wheel tour of St Kitts, and bus tour of St Thomas with shopping.

we have one booked for next January on AoS for 13 days out of NJ. So excited! would love some feedback if anyone has done it!
