Smoke smell on Voyager class ships

We have booked our first RCCL trip on the Mariner of the Seas. I understand smoking is allowed in the casino, but does the smoke smell linger throughout the ship at all? Some report it can be smelled in the Promenade. I am booked assuming it will be rare we smell it if we avoid the casino but am I wrong? Is there also an area to smoke on the pool deck?

On Navigator there was a faint smell in the Promenade near the Casino stairs and in the Casino when it is open. When the Casino is closed, you can't really smell smoke.

Also, in the adult pool area on the side of the ship where smoking is allowed, just go to the other side of this ship and not an issue.
