Father we pray for all our service members deployed overseas. We pray for those who are in harms way and those who support them in outlining countries.
We ask your hand be upon them all as they serve the country they love. We ask your hand on the families at home. It takes us all as a team to get through a deployment and we thank you for being the team leader.
We pray your blessing on us all.
Amen

I have no one to list -my husband is a former Marine who served in the Gulf War. I just want to wish all our servicemen & women a safe return & know you have many people who are praying for you, proud of you & are looking forward to your safe return. Thank you for your service! God Bless! :goodvibes

Today is my sister's 40th birthday and my BIL called her this morning to tell her that he is now in Iraq. (He left last Monday for training then had to catch a military transport overseas and just landed in Iraq today for the next 4-5 months.)

Please keep him and all of our military members and their families in your prayers.

My son, Josh is in the Bravo Co, 12th Cav division in Iraq. Won't be home until December '09 then will go back to Afganistan.

One of his commrades was killed yesterday - please pray for them!

My husband is deployed with the Air Force until August. Our family prays daily not just for his safety, but for all military members and their families back home!

DS and DDIL are both in the Air Force. DS just left for 6 months in Iraq last week. They have 2 wonderful kids. A 2yr old boy and 4 week old baby girl. While DDIL was pregnant this last time she had a lot of sinus trouble and infections. She was finally seen by the specialist and has been diagnosed with a tumor in her sinuses. She is going for a biopsy on Thurs. morning. They are in Texas and we and her parents all are on the east coast. Please pray for her. She has so many burdens right now. Thanks.

My SonIL Josh Hutchison just came home from Ft. Sill, OK for a couple of days to spend with my daughter. He is flying out this afternoon back to Ft. Sill and then will be heading to Iraq by next weekend. He drives huge tow trucks and works on the diesel trucks, so we are hoping that he will be a little safer, but this would still put him in convoys from time to time. Keeping my daughter busy for a year will be a task. We've have been putting together a list of his favorite things that he would like to see from time to time...one of them being softer toilet paper :rotfl: He calls the army tp "John Wayne" paper! We plan to have a calendar made for him that will have pics of their trip to WDW and their wedding from last May, and some family photos. They weren't able to be together on their 1st ann'y. :sad1: She's learning what it is to be a military wife

This is a prayer we say every night, not just when "poppy" is deployed (he just did until Feb. '10)
Lord hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

May God bless all those who are away and the families at home who pray and wait.
~Kathy
