Bonine might be worth a try for you. But I'd recommend trying it once someday when you don't have to do anything important in case it doesn't agree with you. Bonine is a little better for me than Dramamine, but still not great. I have some prescription meds I take, but they have their own negative side effects, so I try to avoid them whenever I can. I do use seabands! I think they help some, but sometimes I still get swimmy wearing them. But I like that there are no negative side effects. I also tried the patch behind the ear, but it makes me lightheaded and gives me dry mouth. I also try to do what I can to be preventative: get enough sleep (I get more motion sick if I'm tired) and have something in my stomach, but nothing too fatty/greasy/sugary. But those things are both a challenge on vacation! lol I also have a little essential oil type thing you put by your nose and breathe in the aroma and I find that helpful once I'm already queasy. I think it's called an aromatherapy inhaler. I also sometimes take ginger, but I don't think it's super effective for me.
