As soon as i read the news, i immediately had to jump on the disboards.

RIP Fess. You were THE MAN. Everyone (& i mean EVERYONE) on my street growing up... wore coon skin caps.

Probably after Walt .....Fess was THE (non animated) "face" of Disney from 1955 - 1970.

Dude lived a great life & thanks to Disney.....will be remembered forever.

My grandparents knew Fess at USC. I got a chance to meet him a couple of times and he was always such a nice man. I even got to see some of his Davy Crockett stuff with the guy from the Beverly Hillbillies. Cool stuff.
