Rope dropping MK on an EMM day question?

I did read a thread from 2017 that EMM had no impact on crowds for regular rope droppers. Is this still true?

Yes, the rope drop guest experience will be no different than a non-EMM day. Welcome show on the castle stage at 8:55am, after which they'll 'drop the ropes' at the various Hub spokes and the park will be open. The EMM crowd count is in the upper hundreds'ish, so too small and at that point too dispersed to even know anything would have been going on.

For clarity for those reading along that may not follow acronyms closely, this is about Early Morning Magic (EMM), the paid ticketed early morning event - not Extra Magic Hours (EMH).
