Renting/transferring points - rules

The things I don't remember...
I pay my dues monthly - since the 90s

My use year is April

Are all of my points available to be transferred or rented? Do I have to pay all of the year's dues?

If something changes (i.e., my DD comes home and wants to go to WDW and I have let my points go) - can I borrow from my next year's allotment?

Jog my memory, please.

Yes, you pay full year dues. The responsibility for that is yours.

And yes, you can borrow after renting or transferring points.

I meant pay them upfront - must I pay the rest of the year upfront or would DVD continue to take them out monthly as they have for 25+ years- of course I would have to pay them.
