Renting DVC Points & DME?

How long does the DME program go? (we'll be going at the end of May 2006). If I rented DVC points and have a ressie can I sign up for DME? How would I go about doing so?

My interpretation of what others have said is that the DME is here to stay but there will likely be a charge for it once the 50th anniversary celebration is over.

I would suggest booking it early in case Disney starts to charge for it.

DVC members can use DME and so can those guests who rent points. Just call MS to set it up.

I agree with Mark -DME should continue to be free during the 50th anniversay celebration. That goes to at least 10/1/2006 and maybe to the end of the year. You should be able to take advantage of it for free for your May 2006 trip.

Anyone staying at a Disney Resort can use DME not just DVC. I think the Swan and Dolphin were added as well.
