Renting a power chair from your own medical supply company in your state in Florida

I go through NuMotion, for all of my wheelchair needs. I just found out that my mom got tickets for my guy Dan Haugen, and I to go to Disney World with her in February. Last time Dan, and I were there in October 2016, for the Mickey's-Not-So-Scary Halloween party. I rented a power chair from Care Medical. It was much like my new one as it was a mid-wheel drive. I loved it. It didn't give me any problems, and driving it was fun. I know Care Medical is no longer there. But, I am thinking of contacting the NuMotion dealer in Orlando, and seeing if I can rent a power chair from them. I know they normally loan out power chairs if they need to keep your power chair for more than a month for repairs. But, I hope if they know I am a client of their company in Oregon. Maybe they might be able to pull some strings.

Good luck, but if a company doesn't ty
ically offer a particular service, I wouldn't expect it to be able to pull some strings to create said service, even for an existing customer.

I called my home wheelchair vendor just now, and they only have companies in Tallahassee, and Tampa. None in Orlando. Both places are closed now. I'm not sure if they rent out power chairs to their clients coming to Disney. But, it wouldn't hurt to ask. I know normally the only time my dealer here at home has ever rented a power chair out to me is when I am in the process of getting a new one. Or, they needed to keep my personal one, for a month or more.

If that doesn't work out. I'm trying to remember some of the other companies that can rent out a power chair like I had rented before. I know SueM has a list of them somewhere on here.

Here are the companies I am aware that rent power chairs.
They mostly rent very basic Jazzy wheelchairs, so if you need anything special or an unusual size, you are out of luck. They have traditionally only rented to people who have experience (which I know you do - just putting that out for others).
