Recent Trip to Vero Beach

Recently returned from Vero Beach. This is a great resort and the first week in October is a great time to visit, since all the crowds have left for the year. The staff at the resort was amazing and met all of our needs. This was our first time to the resort and the drive into Vero Beach for shopping and restaurants was well worth the time spent. If you have not been to this resort you definitely need to put it on your list.

Glad you had a good time. We are headed there for a family reunion 6/2014 in a beach cottage. What activities did you find worthwhile. We vary in age 11 year old thru 79. It will be our first time.

We were there in April and loved it. We rented bikes a couple of days , as there are great bike paths along the canal and through some wildlife sanctuaries . We did not have kids with us, but those that did really seemed to enjoy the short mini golf course right next to the pool and the pool festivities and games . We went into the vero beach area and had a fantastic dinner at Cobalt at the vero beach hotel . Kind of fancy but a good happy hour gorgeous view . With firepits on the deck .We are now planning a reunion for 2016 ( husbands 60 th ) with a big crowd . Across the street through a tunnel you can access basketball , tennis courts and it looks like a place to fish . We loved Vero and can't wait to return with the whole family

The Green Cabin Room had entertainment, a light menu and is a fun place to go to for dessert and the entertainment.
