Question about direct points added on...

I know you need 75 direct points to be get member benefits, but do those 75 points have to be purchased all at once? Let's say I want to purchase 50 points direct (to add to my 150 resale points). If I then decide a few years later to add an additional 25, would I then qualify for direct member benefits, or do I need to purchase them all at the same time?

Officially no, but you do have to keep Disney IT in mind and know that it may not be seamless done that way

Another thing to consider is that Disney could always increase the minimum required a few years later.

First it was none, then 25 in 2016, and then 75 in 2018. Could be 100+ come 2020.

I believe it has to be 75 points in one membership. So if you buy in two groups, make sure they are the same use year.
