Are there any tricks besides Hotel Canary that might let you know what hotel you are gettin on PL? I know on the Disney section there's a whole thread there and people seem to have it down to a science when it comes to that area. But what about Universal?

I just saw one that is $69 a night from Sep 5-7. Canary gives 4 options it could be. Royal Pacific, Hard Rock, Double Tree, Sapphire Falls.

And on the booking page it says "someone just got Royal Pacific"

I'm certain because of the price it's the doubletree as I can't imagine any of the others being that low.

The onsite hotels would be sold out in a flash if they could get a room at $69

Probably it’s the offsite hotel on PL

Saw similar deal on Hotwire.. the hotel was definitely Double Tree.. review #'s matched and Double Tree was exactly 4 stars which matched offer.. All the Universal hotels were 4 1/2 stars.
