March Madness is here- AND you can join in the fun while helping sick kids & their families at the same time... here's how:
Please join our NCAA March Madness pool to benefit Give Kids the World! How does it work? Despite these instructions, it's pretty easy!
The brackets will be announced this Sunday, March 15th and the tournament starts Tuesday, March 17th.
1) Sign up for a fantasy sports account at cbssports.com
2) Paypal $20 to CKHILLIKER2@ aol.com. Please choose "sending money to family or friend" to avoid fees.
3) Charlotte will send the league name and password to the email address the payment comes from. If you would like these instructions to go to another email address, please specify that in the comment portion of your payment.
4) Follow the link that is sent you and fill out your bracket. That's it! We are filling the brackets out all at once, not in a round-by-round fashion. So (unless you want to check the standings), you only have to go to the website once!
5) 80% of the fees will go to Give Kids the World, 20% will go to 1st-3rd places in the pool. So, for instance, if 20 people sign up - $320 goes to GKTW
. Then, $50 to first place, $20 to second place, $10 to third place. Once signup is complete and we know exactly how many people are playing, we will announce the official prize details.
**Give Kids the World is the resort village where very sick children and their families stay when they make a wish to visit the Orlando area and surrounding theme parks. They provide wonderful accommodations, entertainment, and a very loving atmosphere at NO COST to the families. This is a very wonderful and worthy organization!
