Parking at Port Everglades

Hi,

Has anyone parked at Port Everglades recently, if so which provider did you use and would you recommend them as we will be requiring parking for a week in November

we always just park at the port - they operate their own lots and garages. very convenient to the ships, secure, and there is always plenty of parking.

there are off-site providers, too, that cost about half as much, but you have to take a shuttle to and from the port, and do your research on who's safe and who's not. cruise critic has a forum for florida ports; a lot of people review the various parking providers on there.

we used to stay at the hyatt place in fort lauderdale that offered a park and cruise package, so you could keep your car parked at the hotel for the duration of your cruise, and they provided a shuttle before and after. we got tired of dealing with the shuttles, though, so now we just drive to port. it's a little more expensive, but there's something to be said for hopping in your car 2 minutes after clearing customs. :)
