Onsite childcare facilities- how do you plan?

Am I correct in assuming that since all of the childcare facilities that were at the resorts (Poly, Beach Club, AKL) are all closed with the exception of the new Pixar Play @ Contemporary? If so, how does one do an Boardwalk date night (staying at YC and loved the BC childcare)- do we travel by transportation to Contemporary and then go back later--- seems like a lot of back and forth and not worth it unless you are staying at a monorail resort. There has to be something easier and more convenient, correct?

I think there is still a child care center at the Dolphin, just a quick walk / boat ride from the YC. My kids are older but they went a few times and loved it, it was their 2nd favorite after the one at the Polynesian.
