*** Official June 2020 ***

Welcome! It's time to start chatting it up about June 2020!!! Ask questions, give advice, show some love, share your favorite spots/food/resort/park/rides. Whatever you like. We didn't have a thread just yet for us June 2020 trip planners and I just couldn't want any longer so I took the advice of another poster @Roxyfire and started one. Since Roxyfire knows her stuff I'm going to follow her setup and keep on updating as we go.

If you want, share your travel dates and resort and I'll post it in the log.

I'll also be posting any relevant news updates here so you can keep track of it all.

WAHOOO!!! I'll be the first one!!! We have our trip booked for June 15-22, 2020 and we're staying at Copper Creek Villas at WL for the first time as DVC members!!!

My youngest will be graduating HS so we'll be celebrating him and my DH and I will have spent the last 3 years working on our Bachelors degrees and will be finished and celebrating that too!

So stinking excited about this trip!

All together it will be me, DH, DS (18) and DS (20)

Can't wait to hear about everyone's plans!!!

    Thanks for starting this thread!

As of now we are pretty sure we are doing June. Was going to do spring break, but that isn’t going to work out. Not sure where we will stay either. Probably value, but would love to try beach club for the pool. If we did that, we’d try to plan quite a bit of time at the resort to make it worth it. When we figure it out I’ll update.

Not looking forward to the heat as we don’t like it, but summer is the only time next year we can go. Going to try to go as early as possible in the month not that a couple weeks will make a difference temperature wise anyway.

What is June like as far as weather/crowds? We always do January/February. This past January was quite crowded and cool but we had such a blast. We will miss that cool weather for sure!

and I just changed my reservation this morning!! Found out DS's graduation is earlier than we thought so we're headed down on Saturday, June 13th vs. Monday the 15th!!!

    WOOT!!

Was able to change our DVC reservation on-line easy-peasy and it also means I get to book dining and ADRs two days earlier!!

and to top it off, we're signing the contract on a new house build this afternoon and we'll be moving in early April - 2020 is turning out to be a FABULOUS year!!

The weather is HOT honestly. What we do is going to the parks in the morning/evening and relax during the hottest part of the day. The crowds are a heavier in June for sure with school being out and all. Another reason we do the morning/evening.

Thank you for starting this thread. We had to reschedule our trip from May to June due to a conflicting obligation. So now we are there 20-28 June at OKW in a 2br lockoff. DD is excited about having a studio to herself.

Yay! I’ve been waiting for this thread to start! We are going May 31-June 4 at All Star Music.
My daughter is also graduating High School so this is her “senior trip”, and we are t taking her brothers so it will be nice to do an adult only trip to Disney World! DH and I will be getting married in the Spring so we’ll still be very Newlyweds for the trip. He’s been to Disneyland with me twice when I had to go to LA for work and we took all the kids to the World on Spring Break this last year. I’m excited because this is the first trip that we can justify the dining plan.

So excited we have 2 reservations right now because we can’t decide 💁🏼. We have CBR & DS best western for June 4-8th. We are going on a cruise out of Port Canaveral on Monday, and added this since we will be so close.
We will probably end up at the best western since it is 1/2 the price of CBR. Keeping my fingers crossed that MK will have villains nights again on thursdays in June.

I’m so happy the thread has started! We are currently booked June 15-26 at Gran Destino @ CS. We are celebrating my birthday (13th sad I won’t be there on the day) & my mom’s birthday (23rd). With us will be my DS2 17 and niece 15. My dad is also joining us for the first 5 nights.

Dates and resort may change depending on promos!

Can’t wait to plan with everyone.

Booked for June 2020 at POFQ. Our will be our first time there. It would have been our first choice last year but we booked too late.

Last year we did CSR and I am second guessing things now. It was our first time at Disney in decades so now it is what feels like our home resort. With the new tower being finished it seems like we should be going back there since it is what's familiar and seeing the completed tower would be great.

We are looking forward to the compactness where we can actually get coffee in the lobby, have one bus stop and quick access to Disney Springs. We actually took the long bus route to POR last year just to take the boat to DS there. Very nice area.

Do they offer any discounts on June rooms? I think we may have booked before prices went up.

Yeah for June!! We're celebrating my DD 30th birthday! Her choice was to go to Disney. My other DD just ended her run as a CM. According to her: Early June isn't too terrible. A lot of Florida schools are still in session usually done around June 15th (ish) We're hoping things won't be too nutty. Although an all adult trip makes for easy days, fun nights!!

First time staying at Old Key West in a villa.

We had to switch our April trip to June. We will be at the Beach Club from June 13th-22nd. I’m a bit nervous about the crowds. We usually travel in May or September. Tell me it won’t be that bad😬

We've been first week of June, it was actually nice and doable, just hot and rainy. Did so much more in June than in November.
