We went on March 1 and went through the normal queue for Peter Pan. I actually liked it because we had never seen it before

I’m so debating going to the party on Sept 20th. We were planning on doing the Halloween party on the 21st but DAH is really tempting me. I’ve wanted to do this since they first announced this option. My nieces have have never done either but I’m sure MNSSHP would be their preference.
Does anyone know if there are military discounts for DAH?

This is so random! Both times we've attended, the FP side has been the only thing open..hoping we can see the PP queue this time since we've NEVER seen it!!

I have never seen it either and it wasn’t open during DAH or EMM a few weeks ago. I asked but was told no. Although I’ve seen reports of it being open for some folks. So... YMMV!
The CMs at EMM let us go through it, so it can be done.
It's nice and fun. Not worth actually waiting in the line, but fun.

Yeah, I was a bit frustrated actually. We saw them let a group 20 seconds in front of us go through, but then closed the chain behind them. We asked nicely, and they said no. I started to be like “but why did they get to go” but it wasn’t important enough (to me) to push the issue.
So for now it stays on my “some day” list!

It was actually pretty cool and it was nice that our niece got to see it since it was her first Disney trip. We actually waited like 10-15 minutes for pp so that’s probably why the normal queue was open.

From what people have answered so far is slim to none but some of us believe that means there is a tiny bit of hope for us.
Report from DAH 7/14
When we arrived the entrance for DAH is clearly marked. They had 5-6 cast members on hand with lanyards ready to go. We were very early but decided to see if they'd let us in. We had no problem getting in at 5:58. The park was very hot and crowded. We used our 3 fast passes and was able to schedule a 4th (Jungle Cruise (broke down while we were on it - significant delay), Splash Mountain - got VERY wet, Peter Pan, Small World. Little Mermaid 20 min wait. 9:00 Haunted Mansion no wait. Big Thunder during fireworks - this was a highlight! Amazing! Rode 2x with very short wait. Then rode Pirates with very little wait. By the time we finished that - it was 10:00 and the event had started. We noticed immediately they were turning people away from the rides that did not have a lanyard. We also noticed even by 11:00 some people without lanyards still milling around the park trying to get on rides. I found this surprising! We got treats and headed to Tomorrowland. Rode Buzz (ride broke down on us and took longer than I would have liked), Space 2x no wait, Astro, SDMT 15 minute wait, Winnie the Pooh, Big Thunder 2x, Pirates, SDMT again 5 min wait, People Mover. Last 20 minutes decided to ride Space again - so did everyone else - 20 minute wait. Longest wait of the night! We wanted more treats but by the time we got off..past 1 AM the treat carts were closing up. We did manage to get a popcorn and Olaf pop. Bottled drinks gone. Monorail was closed - could get to parking lot via ferry only. I did notice the Winnie the Pooh and Pirates gift shops were open - I think because you have to walk through them to get out. There were times we were alone - especially in the Pirates area. There was NO one in the boats around us. Some parts of the park are very dark and got a hair disoriented. Would do this event again - especially this time of year to avoid the heat, lines and sweaty, stinky people!!

We went through it at DAH on 7/9. First time ever seeing it for us - it's cute.

There's no history of it being offered in October, but there wasn't any history of summer dates either before a few months ago.
Personally, I think it's a slim chance during the bulk of party season, but anything is possible.

I don't think I have seen military discounts mentioned on this thread, but I'm not 100% sure about that so maybe someone who knows for sure can chime in.
FWIW, I am similarly conflicted about that Sept date. It's just sitting there screaming "DAH/MNSSHP trip!"

They did not have fast pass walkways open (note I did not do Mermaid and Pan May have been the fast pass que), but I know most of them such as pirates, BTM, 7D’s you had to walk the full que even 2-3 hours into it. When the park closed at 11, we wanted to do Speedway first, it still had a 20 minuet stand by line, we asked if we could fast pass and the CM flatly told us no, we had to do standby and all rides would be this way. So, our first 15-20 mins were waiting in a standby line. I fully understand not allowing this prior to our “time”, but I felt they should have let us since we were already “on the clock” so to speak. All of the rides are family wanted were at least 15-20 minuets. We did not even attempt 7D’s to the last hour. We still had fun, but just be aware if this.

I keep pricing things out for that date! My daughter is off of school Sept. 19 which makes it more tempting. DAH, MNSSHP, maybe fit in EMM and a HS day (kids haven't seen Toy Story Land yet)...I don't think I have seen military discounts mentioned on this thread, but I'm not 100% sure about that so maybe someone who knows for sure can chime in.

I was thinking about that Labor Day week Ultimate Fall package, but I feel kind of weird keeping her out the first week of school. Plus, no DAH!
