NPB Compass Club - a good value?

Comparing the value of Compass Club room at NPB to a basic room with patio at Marvel HNY. Prices for 3 nights/4day tix are:

CC room for four - $3129
Marvel Standard (Superior) room w/ Garden terrace for four - $2988

We are at DLP mid July 2024. Family of four - two parents with 17 and 19 YO “kids”

CC breakfast starts at 7am per site. Is it reasonable for us to eat there if we are waiting right at 7am and then get to he park in time to enjoy the benefits of Extra Hours in the morning?

If so at only $140 more, the CC room seems like a better value than the Marvel hotel - are the CC rooms any bigger? The Marvel rooms look tiny. We are in France for two weeks so would appreciatr a less cramped room. We will come from a Paris rental with much more space and will be park focused so dont mind a basic room that isnt huge but a bit more space would be nice too.

Also, the European sites are not less expensive for our dates.

Thanks

Also thinking that this will be a better value than any of the board options and we would not add board options to this as we already have breakfast included.

For that price difference, I would do club level for sure. It will pay for a large part of your breakfast and you have the dedicated check in etc. Rooms are in a central location,a bit bigger etc. So if the difference is only $140.

About the room size. Rooms are always smaller than in the US, so just be prepared for that! I have a feeling CC is slightly bigger, but not a massive difference.

And yes, no issue to wait a bit before 7 to get into breakfast first and then go use the early hours. There might be more people with this idea, but with the limited people in CC, the wait will only be a few people. They check if you are on the list, cross off your name and let you in. So we are talking a few minutes at most.

The walk to the park from the Marvel hotel is a bit shorter, but it's maybe 3-5 minutes more to the Newport, no big deal.
Also, the Marvel hotel has just been refurbished, while I've read the Newport rooms already show some wear and tear.
Between the two I'd personally choose the CC, but I'm a big fan of the Value hotels at DLP, so I'd rather save money and book the Cheyenne.

Our travel advisor says she never puts people in the Compass rooms and instead recommends doing half board for the meal plan. The breakfast at the Newport is actually pretty great and super fast. I was very worried about not getting a table, time etc and it was great. Staff were really nice and I actually really liked the buffet. My then 13yo daughter loved that there were Mickey things at breakfast (waffles, pancakes, bread that had mickey buttons, etc)

As the concierge clubs at DLP hotels *do not* include alcoholic beverages like they do in the US I just don't really see the advantage?

I was somewhat disappointed with the Marvel hotel - just didn't have a whole lot of theming and felt kind of commercialish.
