I don't know if many of you have heard of Folding@Home but it's a project started at Stanford University wherein you install a small piece of software on your computer and it uses your computer when it's idle to work on doing research on diseases such as Alzheimers and Huntingtons Disease as a large supercomputer network with all the others running Folding@Home.
I've started a Folding@Home team for the disboards.com that anyone can join. You will just need to download the software at the Folding@Home Webpage and make sure during setup that you add that you are a member of team "123377" so that the Disboards.com team gets credit for your work! Lets show the real power of the disboards.com to do as much good as you can. btw, this is good for those with PCs, Macs, Linux and even Playstation 3's (PS3)
