Never thought I'd get to Disneyland!

HI! This is my first time on this board. I never expected to get to Disneyland, since we live in Indiana and it seems easier to go to WDW. (Never been to California at all.) We have a BIG family trip planned to WDW in May with about 30 members of the family going, including all my kids and grandkids. Just found out, though, that SIL #2 is being transferred to CA and because of training for his new job, he won't be able to go. Now he doesn't want our DD or their two little ones to go, either, because he wants to be with them the first time the little boys go to Disney. I don't blame him at all -- I would feel the same way. He's promised she and the kids can still come to IN for a nice long visit this spring while he is away at his training, and then next year, when we go out to CA to see them, we'll all go to Disneyland together and get to enjoy the little guys' first trip to DL together. Disappointed about the WDW trip, of course, but this goes a long way to making me feel better.

Now I have to start reading up on DL -- and I know this is the right place to come! I'm excited about the prospect of a new adventure! So I'll be reading for a while, and maybe asking a few questions. Just wanted to say HI for now!

Hi Disneyland is a great place as well I highly recommend you check out the DIS' "sister site" www.laughingplace.com -- they have a TON of Disneyland and DCA information.
