Our 12 year daughter is autistic and has muscle weakness. She has to have a wheelchair to do Disney. She recently hit a growth spurt and has outgrown her current ride. She is about 100lbs and 5’2”. We need easy to push and some recline. I’d prefer to keep the cost under $600 if possible. Renting for Disney is an option too. Suggestions? Thank you!

I would look at a Convaid. The cruiser would most likely work if she doesn't need too much support. The Convaids are sturdy and pretty compact unlike a jogger which can be very long. They have a set recline at 30% so that may be an issue. I am pretty sure you can rent cruisers in Orlando that could be delivered to your resort. The other Convaids like the Safari or Rodeo which have tilt and recline may be harder to rent.

AdaptiveMall is a great place to start looking. They have a good variety and have a lot of information on their site.
This is a link to their stroller page: https://www.adaptivemall.com/allstrolpus.html
And, a search for wheelchairs: https://www.adaptivemall.com/search-results.html?query=Wheelchair

You might also want to check if your insurance will cover it. If she needs it for muscle weakness and stamina for trips outside the home, they might. It’s hard to say. If insurance will cover, you would need an MD order and probably a seating evaluation.

Aldo check things like Craig’s List or Facebook Marketplace. You can sometimes find equipment like that because children outgrew it or their needs changed.
