I got my new power chair, a Quickie QM-710 mid-wheel drive about three weeks before leaving on my birthday trip to Disney World last year. I'm five months into having it as I got it on October 10th, and I love it. I debated canceling my power chair reservation that I had with Care Medical in Orlando, and bringing my new power chair. But, I was advised against bringing it because of the awful experience I had with Icelandic Air breaking off my push handles of my manual wheelchair coming home from Iceland last summer. They paid for the repair thankfully as it was very expensive.

I did have a great power chair rental. It was well cared for, and a mid-wheel drive Jazzy power chair. On my next Disney trip. I'm definitely renting a power chair again. It was an expensive rental for the time we were there. But, I had saved up enough money for it.

I love the retractable joystick controller, and the flip-up foot board on my new power chair. It makes it easy to pull up to a table that had the four x-shaped legs. I also love the Spider-Trac suspension as does my back. It makes for a very smooth ride compared to my old power chair.

I did a trial run in my house with a demo model around this time last year, and found that it can fit through the doorway of both of the bedrooms. Right now. I just get around the house with my manual wheelchair. But, as soon as a wheelchair ramp gets put in. I'll be able to use my power chair in the house. The picture taken was the day I had just gotten it.

My seating specialist who delivered my new power chair also hauled away my old one. It was not working anymore, and I didn't have the room in my garage for it. I'm glad he did because he said it could be recycled.

Thank you. I love it. I'm five months into using it, and am still happy with it. It is so comfortable for not only sitting in. But, the ride of it is very smooth. I can hardly feel any bumps going along the sidewalk.
