My AP-ALOOZA Continues (WE RENEWED!!) ~ NEW TR link posted!

Day 8 – we had another CP breakfast ressie before the park opened. I had snagged that one on my birthday but didn’t want to give this one up so we kept it and did it again! First the monorail from the parking lot -

It’s an absolutely delicious breakfast so no reason to be sad about that! Plus we actually have photos from this CP BF so that worked out well :)

Pretty soon after we were seated Eeyore came around so we met him before getting some food

Aria's plate, she must have been hungry for the croissant!

My plate (I guess I wasn't very good at snapping pics of Andrew's plate!) and yes, I did go up for seconds on that breakfast lasagna!

Pooh came and Aria was excited to show off her shirt

Aria loved Mickey waffles but never really ate them until our last trip - I found putting whipped cream on top and she would eat the whole thing!

The character timing was really great and we were out by 8:50 or so. We headed today for Tomorrowland first! Our fastpasses were for Space, 7DMT and Anna & Elsa, plus we had Jenn & John’s magic bands they left with us which enabled us to get 3 more FP’s. Not sure what we chose but probably Pirates, Pooh and Barnstormer.

Andrew and I got a rider swap for Space and then Aria and I rode Buzz

11096404_10100301282165271_8209181018773766932_n.jpg

Then we all hopped on the TTC

10988328_10100301280618371_3602663556572867451_n.jpg

A spin on Pooh was a must of course!

1623599_10100301280758091_9054285398819153931_n.jpg

Afterwards we hopped on IASW, Flying Carpets and Pirates (it was Andrew's last day, so his request was definitely to do pirates!)

Then back to FL for the carousel

A frozen lemonade break (this tasted SO yummy! I had one again in May)

10393967_10100301281207191_7231049454252353450_n.jpg

Then a spin on the Speedway thanks to an extra FP

I got my times mixed up for Marie, and changed her into her Marie dress but she was no longer meeting. SO instead she went to her A&E meet in a marie dress. Oh well.

After that meet, right around noon,we headed out – I wanted Aria asleep a little earlier today because we had a 3PM photoshoot with Disney event photography at the beach club! It was the only time we were able to get all week so made it work.

Aria napped in her stroller and we actually headed to the Crew's Cup lounge at the yacht club. I had read about a lobster roll Andrew would enjoy! I ordered some buffalo chicken bites which were very good

11038247_10100301281606391_5105788894718539264_n.jpg

And we both loved the truffle fries

11119141_10100301281626351_5825215320704336927_n.jpg

And the lobster roll which he enjoyed (though being from Mass. I know he has had better)

11130099_10100301281661281_1106437026713294533_n.jpg

I am not seeing my drink on the menu online but it was very good

11138150_10100301281686231_316971930796894306_n.jpg

Overall the service was fine, and the ambiance was really great. We sat in a leather loveseat with the stroller off to the side, and it was pretty empty at 1PM. A perfect and relaxing lunch. (And I can't honestly remember what we gave Aria for lunch lol)

Once finished we headed to the room to change and I woke Aria up around 2:15 so she would be wide awake and happy by 3. We headed over to the meeting spot a few minutes early and I *may* have bought a treat to bribe her to be good for the photoshoot.

11136731_10100301281716171_2617339847874840039_n.jpg

continued in next post!!

For the photoshoot, the photographer was OK – he made some odd angle choices but we did get a few good photos. I had hoped for some outside beach photos but he said the lighting wasn’t good for that (it was sunny) so that was disappointing. Otherwise, we did like the settings he chose.

This was an awkward one - he wanted us to face one way but look with our eyes at him

10425444_10100298816286911_6561481575383370706_n.jpg

but this was cute

he tried to get a solo one of Aria but she wasn't too happy about her awkward spot either

Then we moved to another room which is in the Villas area - I liked these photos better

Andrew had the ME to catch for the airport that evening around 5PM, so after the photoshoot we chose to do 1 more thing – rent the mickey mouse boats! This is something we have both enjoyed doing since our first visit together in 2004 (and I did it with my mom on my first ever visit back in 2000). Aria agrees this is a blast and we all had a good time. You are not supposed to use cameras while out on the water, but we waited until we were out of sight and snapped a few ;)

Soon it was time to say goodbye to Andrew, and Aria and I had dinner reservations at the Yachtsman. Originally I was planning for Beaches & Cream but after my mediocre dinner there in August I decided to skip it. We had about an hour or so though so went swimming first!

Then back for some quick showers. It's so nice to stay close to the room for dinner vs. driving to another resort.

10647101_10100301281865871_2875218331018083518_n.jpg

At Yachtsman we were seated quickly at a 4-top table and bread came quickly - with roasted garlic and butter - SO good

11078195_10100301281920761_7994421572838486913_n.jpg

For my started I chose the lobster bisque

18114_10100301281945711_9090492361088707711_n.jpg

Aria had a grilled chicken with veggies

11138627_10100301281975651_3744772531448681916_n.jpg

And I had the oddest vegetarian meal I've ever had. It was ricotta with veggies, presented beautifully, but not filling at all and sort of bland. Plus Aria kept stealing my cherry tomatoes.

11133764_10100301281990621_7962353381293250050_n.jpg

But Aria's meal was fantastic and came with this super awesome kid's dessert - white chocolate pieces that are puzzle pieces and you get to paint on them.

11054263_10100301282040521_2527465812308497239_n.jpg

I also ordered dessert, but don't remember what it was exactly except that it was the highlight of the meal (aside from my wine, which was delicious)

11138535_10100301282060481_3615367756967889549_n.jpg

Aria had moved on to painting her cookies

11065785_10100301282090421_2748883113724353239_n.jpg

Then we paid and headed out. I'm glad we tried it again and I would go back as long as the veg meal has changed LOL. We had a very easy evening watching some TV in the room and heading to bed. Andrew made it home around 10 with an easy flight.

Another baby girl - so exciting! I bet Aria is thrilled to be getting a sister!

Looks like a fun breakfast at CP. We haven't been there since 2008 and will have to remember that one in the future!

I think you got some great photos at your photoshoot. Bummer that you couldn't really do the ones that you were hoping for, but I think the ones you have came out really well!

After seeing the picture of Aria coming down the slide at Stormalong Bay, now I'm REALLY hoping we get to stay there after our cruise next May. Rory would be all over that!

That vegetarian meal is definitely...interesting. I tend toward vegetarian (or vegan) meals, and I don't think I'd be satisfied with that one. I'm glad the rest of your meal was good, though!

first, just wanted to let you know that the link to the Facebook Video worked (at least for me) - what a fun was to tell Aria (though she seemed at least as excited about the balloons as the news). Olivia was the same way in wanting a baby sister - we were rather worried about how to break it to her if kid #3 turned out to be another boy, fortunately everything worked out

Gotta love all the food at the CP breakfast! That Lasagna is pretty tasty (though I found a little went at long way .... plus gotta leave room for even more puffed French Toast).

Love the level of focus Aria showed in the Buzz ride photo :rotfl2:

Having a Marie dress on to meet Anna & Elsa?!?!?! That's it, vacation is ruined!!!! ;)

That actually sounds like a really nice lunch and pretty relaxing. Funny to read this as it is definitely Lobster Roll season up here. Had one for lunch yesterday and then got one for Judi for dinner (felt bad about having one for lunch at the work cafeteria and she didn't)

Such a good idea to do the photo shoot - definitely want to do that some day. You definitely got some nice shots, though too bad about the photographer saying the lighting wasn't good for beach shots. I would have been tempted to at least try some - worst case they don't come out.

This was an awkward one - he wanted us to face one way but look with our eyes at him

My favorite family pic from the photoshoot:

Great photo! :thumbsup2 ... we'll have to photoshop the new baby into it ;)

That does seem like quite the interesting vegetarian meal ... definitely was quite a pretty plating. Could see how it would be not very filling though. Aria's meal looks pretty good though and quite substantial.

Plus we actually have photos from this CP BF so that worked out well :)
That's nice you got a second chance to take pics there, so you actually have some. And more breakfast lasagna is always good too. ::yes::

Pooh came and Aria was excited to show off her shirt
Cute! Izzy enjoyed showing off her shirts to characters too, but she didn't always have the right one, so she'd be showing off R2D2 to Princess Sofia. :rotfl:

SO instead she went to her A&E meet in a marie dress. Oh well.
But did she show it off to them? That's a super cute dress!

I *may* have bought a treat to bribe her to be good for the photoshoot.
I think that's required. :thumbsup2 (I was foolish enough to bring a treat that I gave her during the photo shoot - and it took her forever to eat it, so there's lots of photos of her munching on candy.)

This was an awkward one - he wanted us to face one way but look with our eyes at him
Yeah, that is a bit awkward.

but this was cute
That's great, though.

My favorite family pic from the photoshoot:
Love that one! Glad you finally got outside, but I'm sorry you couldn't get your beach photos! We spent most of our shoot on the beach, as Izzy was a total grump and only wanted to play with sand. I actually am amazed our photographer ended up getting some good pictures, as we were all a mess that night.

You are not supposed to use cameras while out on the water, but we waited until we were out of sight and snapped a few ;)
Oh, really? I didn't know that about the cameras. We rented a pontoon once and took a ton of pics. The little boats look fun!

Sounds like a nice evening between the swimming, meal, and relaxing. That kids' dessert is really cool! :thumbsup2

She is really thrilled! I am very anxious for our upcoming ultrasound on July 7th to confirm baby is a girl, considering how much I've spent on her closet already she better stay a girl.

CP is an awesome start to a MK day! However, in May I tried out the BoG BF and I have to admit, that the cronut they offer is AMAZING. I currently have both planned for next Jan/Feb.

The slide was a great find, I actually didn't realize they had that slide since the last time we were there she was much younger and I think we both skipped the slide altogether. But definitely not anymore!

No, it was not satisfying at all. I like vegetarian meals as well, simply bc I don't eat much meat and am very picky with chicken too...

Speaking of your kids, I can't believe how big Emma has gotten. In my mind I still envision a 1 month old! Crazy. I wanted to ask you about that actually - I am leaning towards staying at the Poly for the first time in a studio (largest DVC studio on property I believe), but that allows no separation for Aria to sleep through the night assuming baby gets up 1-2 times (by 8 weeks Aria slept through the night but I can't bank on that!). I believe all 5 of you stayed in 1 Contemporary room, right? How was that if you don't mind me asking? Should we just splurge for a larger space, maybe a 1 BR BLT room?

Nope, two bowls of breakfast lasagna and I still want MORE! hahahaha. Aria liked the puffed French toast more though ;)

Yeah the problem is those photoshoots are SO short - 20 minutes? so once we go down to the beach we wouldn't have too much time for much else - plus he didn't really give us an option (which I didn't appreciate) it was more like "no, not doing beach shots right now, let's go over here"

Hhaha No aria only shows the characters her outfit if she is wearing the right dress. I can't wait to see your photoshoot pics! AND I just peeked at a comment you made on Schmass's report re the Beach Club ?!?! it was a disaster?? I need to know what happened!

Well, the driver can't take photos while on the boat. So on the pontoon whoever isn't driving certainly can. I tried getting Aria to take a few shots - that worked out better this May than last October haha.

I responded to your Facebook message but thought it might be easier to read here than in that little window - plus more explanation with either clarify things ... or make them more confused :)

So we were in a room at the contemporary with 5 of us and I think there was enough room. The room was pretty large and had the fold-down bed so room for sleeping 5 - and Olivia enjoyed having her own bed.

I think it worked for us as we co-slept so Emma was just always right up against Judi and Judi would take care of her if she woke up and the other kids waking up didn't really impact her (impacted me as while Judi took care of Emma, I had to deal with the others if they woke up). So I think if you have a similar set up it should be fine. If you would have the baby in a portable crib of some sort and Aria waking up could impact the baby waking up then, it might not work as well though

I appreciate the input! I think I'm going to let fate rule where we stay. if the poly is not available then we are going to do the 1 BR at BLT, if available, If not then maybe fate wants us to save some $$ and stay at Shades. Or you know, splurge for the GF, But we'll see about that. I just REALLY want to stay around the MK, most of our days are centered there. Plus I have great ambitions for Trader Sam's.

Day 9 – First I touched on this before we left, but just to clarify, the previous evening Andrew had to fly home bc on this day he had a good friend's wedding to go to. Our original plan was to leave on this day, but Southwest had ZERO flights arriving earlier than 2PM and I quickly nixed that idea - plus once again, no kids allowed which meant needing to have his parents come, stay the night etc etc (just a pain). So instead I sent him off on Friday and extended our stay 1 extra day to fly home on Sunday (this was, of course, because Andrew wouldn't be able to pick us up at the airport until Sunday ;) )

So with that in mind, we had an extra day, and where better to spend it but the MK. We had plans to head to the Magic Kingdom in the morning and then EPCOT in the afternoon. Since Andrew was no longer with us, I had pre-booked 6 fastpasses – Speedway, Meet Cinderella, Buzz, Meet Tink and Meet mIckey, and then the barnstormer. So we did all of these plus other FL rides all before noon. Phew!

But first - I had a 1900 Park Fare breakfast planned before park opening! So we got to see a couple from the hundred acre wood along with some others. Kind of a random mix of characters, but fun nonetheless.

11159975_10100301284445701_8384871715756678448_n.jpg

Quickly after being seated we went up for some food

11018594_10100301284430731_8774572509856550464_n.jpg

There weren't any standout dishes here, but they did have the requisite tater tots (you can see my croissant is lying on a bed of them).

Soon Pooh came around

11099173_10100301284500591_3400166033477338042_n.jpg

Tigger danced with Aria

11136679_10100301284555481_8682179014531287638_n.jpg

Mary Poppins was sweet with her

11156335_10100301284580431_2310011890290634872_n.jpg

And Aria didn't really know Alice at this time (we've since seen the movie once or twice) but she liked her well enough

21129_10100301284620351_8121128300064133691_n.jpg

But the whole time Aria had her eye on the Mad Hatter - and NOT in a good way. She kept saying she didn't want him to come over. He did though after Alice and while Aria wouldn't get up from her chair, she didn't freak out either.

LOL This was the best smile I got

22613_10100301284685221_6556535909062656434_n.jpg

After breakfast we hopped on the monorail over to the MK and made it in just after rope drop. We even stopped for some photopass pics before running off for our whirlwind of rides!

10306556_10100301284795001_5911986918974551169_n.jpg

11149122_10100301284839911_8828369508051271556_n.jpg

We first headed towards the Haunted Mansion - I was trying to visit any we had missed during the trip. Aria was a little nervous but did okay, and was totally fine once we were seated in the doom buggy.

988914_10100301284914761_7397530068242083970_n.jpg

Next we had FP's for Peter Pan so rode that - from there Aria saw the Seven Dwarfs ride and practically begged to ride it, which is when I took her up to measure just to show her she was still too short (OFTEN at him I bring out a measuring stick to see if she has grown, so she is used to this). A CM came up and said to wait there as he had something for her - I was thinking maybe a sticker but this is when he brought out the Seven Dwarfs FP card! This is what we used in May!

11146209_10100301285109371_8692017131462224204_n.jpg

21129_10100301285134321_2881194757343573441_n.jpg

Aria was happy with that for now, and we headed to the carousel for a nice little ride.

10410457_10100301285149291_267453623004954344_n.jpg

And then our FP for Cinderella and Rapunzel opened up (Rapunzel sure would be fun at a character meal if only they'd bring her to one!). It would be neat if they opened up a newer one with the recent princesses like Merida, Tiana, Rapunzel, Anna and Elsa? That'd be a huge hit, IMO!

Anyway we didn't have to wait long before it was Aria's turn!

11134007_10100301285234121_267762538646760207_n.jpg

Cinderella talked with her about her shoes

11150673_10100301285333921_2390674511194600587_n.jpg

And then we were off again! After a couple more rides we decided a visit to Tom Sawyer Island was in order! We did stop for a bathroom break and outfit change though ;)

11150629_10100301285408771_2677300092687159316_n.jpg

She loved the barrel bridge and really loved going over it by herself

11057742_10100301285413761_1036096692801333485_n.jpg

Once we'd visited a couple caves we headed back over to the mainland and went to Pirates to use another FP. Afterwards Aria was piling up her imaginary cart full of pirate gear. I didn't buy these for her today but she was fine with leaving.

11137141_10100301285533521_5462737820001475146_n.jpg

Then we were on a mission - meet Marie!! So we huffed it back to the front of the park and hopped in a fairly long line. We waited probably 25 minutes but did have some luck at the end - we were the last ones to see her before she took a break! Whew!

11067829_10100301285593401_1848412102872051229_n.jpg

That was cute though because when it was time for Marie to leave, she walked out with Aria hand in hand.

10476014_10100301285708171_7762352183372837850_n.jpg

Of course, we did not in fact change into her Tinkerbelle dress for nothing today, as that was where we were headed next!

10394489_10100301285817951_5410302134848165390_n.jpg

Afterwards while waiting for our Mickey Mouse FP to open, she spent some time shopping - I had already purchased her the little Minnie house a while back for Christmas so I was happy to see her pick it out now. Again we didn't buy anything but she did have her Mickey with her to meet Talking Mickey!

10380905_10100301285812961_4299187001945235247_n.jpg

After a little wait (the FP line is never very short it seems for Mickey), it was her turn!

11011574_10100301285957671_5639919724545291239_n.jpg

And yes this is what I do when it's just the two of us and no one is complaining about character meets - we had another outfit change and another character meet before heading out - Snow White!

11138577_10100301286017551_6266773983611140385_n.jpg

While waiting, Aria did lots of running and twirling

11099173_10100301286057471_1218848247118984786_n.jpg

And when it was our turn, Snow White absolutely loved her Seven Dwarfs dress and examined it closely pointing out each one of them.

11018105_10100301286222141_1167088834821191455_n.jpg

And from there we did head out of the park. Aria fell asleep on the drive to the BCV, but I transferred her to the stroller and went off to find some food (Aria had something to eat for lunch before we left, but not sure what).

Continued in next post

Once at the Beach Club, I don't even think I stopped at the room - just went to the marketplace looking for a snack and found a cheese flatbread which I ate about half of and saved the rest for in case Aria woke up hungry and then headed off to EPCOT.

11107740_10100301286282021_6339657794075614806_n.jpg

And then I treated myself. Oh how I felt SO bad doing it, but I went into the gelato shop in France all by myself and had a whole ice cream cone to enjoy. And it was so amazing! One of my favorite ice cream types is coconut so that is what I got today.

11156193_10100301286287011_3542148451511069865_n.jpg

BTW, Aria has been very into Macarons lately, and anything French, so we are all getting very excited for our upcoming trip!

10410934_10100301286371841_1286112061451785987_n.jpg

I even stopped for a photopass pic with my ice cream.

11023335_10100301286321941_6478921524755417090_n.jpg

While enjoying the ice cream I walked slowly through the world showcase, stopping in a few shops but not taking any photos, sorry! Aria woke up right before Mexico so of course we had to stop and ride! Afterwards we did a little shopping and I realized I hadn't picked up an ornament yet! Aria loved these little Mexican birds so I thought that could work as an ornament.

10365729_10100301286396791_8872443876088408092_n.jpg

Then we made our way out to FW to ride Nemo!

11034210_10100301286526531_3490782597668765515_n.jpg

The character spot had no wait so that was next, I guess she could meet these guys all day long as she always asks to go in when we pass it.

After some meandering we headed back to Mexico - we had a dinner date! A friend of mine, Karin, and her husband happened to be in Disney at the same time and while most of our days didn't overlap, we were both in EPCOT today so we decided on La Hacienda for dinner. I met Karin online YEARS ago - like 2005? We met on, get this, Harry Potter fan fiction boards. Yes I am that much of a HP geek. We started chatting and her whole family came out to our wedding in 2007 and I visited her in South Dakota in 2009, but we have since been busy and hadn't seen each other in a long time. She is older than me and has two grandchildren close to Aria's age. So she was very sweet to Aria at dinner and loved playing with her. But I digress -

Back to dinner, we were seated at a booth and I immediately ordered the margarita sampler.

11101833_10100301286716151_6230399605316513217_n.jpg

Hmm what is this? I think I ordered corn chowder as an appetizer.
It was good and Aria loves soups so she had quite a bit of mine.

11096388_10100301286736111_4984246917287443134_n.jpg

Aria had the kid's chicken tacos (we make some spicy ones at home that she loves). These were a bit bland but it was nice to have something different on the kids menu.

20417_10100301286771041_6278522141135379282_n.jpg

And here we are as a group

11133732_10100301286815951_9005846128525342912_n.jpg

It was a nice meal catching up with old friends.

Afterwards we headed back to pack up the room (this is the last time I saw that SD card – it was on the TV stand and I told myself to put it in the suitcase NOW but got distracted and forgot). Aria watched some TV during the packing process and then we went to bed.

this was, of course, because Andrew wouldn't be able to pick us up at the airport until Sunday ;)
Of course. ;)

Since Andrew was no longer with us, I had pre-booked 6 fastpasses
:faint: Might as well, though. ::yes::

But the whole time Aria had her eye on the Mad Hatter - and NOT in a good way. She kept saying she didn't want him to come over. He did though after Alice and while Aria wouldn't get up from her chair, she didn't freak out either.
Well, good for Aria on not freaking out. :goodvibes

I love this shirt! So cute!

Wow, so that functioned as a belated FP for when she got tall enough? :confused3 I measured Izzy there (I knew she wasn't tall enough for 7DMT, but wanted to make sure she'd be good for Barnstormer) and no special pass for her. Oh, well.

It would be neat if they opened up a newer one with the recent princesses like Merida, Tiana, Rapunzel, Anna and Elsa? That'd be a huge hit, IMO!
I'd go there! :thumbsup2

Aw, she's holding (Pirate) Izzy! :)

we were the last ones to see her before she took a break! Whew!
Glad you made it! That's a meet I'd really like to get Izzy to (she has a little Marie plush she loves and a Marie shirt), but just haven't been able to make it work yet. So cute! :lovestruc

I had already purchased her the little Minnie house a while back for Christmas so I was happy to see her pick it out now.
That looks cool. It looks like there are little characters that come with it too, I think? Not that we need any more playsets around here... :rotfl:

And when it was our turn, Snow White absolutely loved her Seven Dwarfs dress and examined it closely pointing out each one of them.
Cute dress! Also makes me wonder if the "friends of" Snow White ever mix up their dwarfs. :scratchin I suppose they have to study them very carefully.

And then I treated myself. Oh how I felt SO bad doing it, but I went into the gelato shop in France all by myself and had a whole ice cream cone to enjoy. And it was so amazing! One of my favorite ice cream types is coconut so that is what I got today.
Mmmmmm, yummy! I'm surprised you didn't get an ice cream martini, though. Not that you can go wrong there.

BTW, Aria has been very into Macarons lately, and anything French, so we are all getting very excited for our upcoming trip!
That's great - I hope she has a fantastic time! Are you going to do a TR for that trip? Sounds so fun! (By the way, Izzy saw a picture of Paris the other day and was like, "Mommy, I want to go there! Let's go there!")

I even stopped for a photopass pic with my ice cream.
I love this! :rotfl: It seems like they're always doing romantic shots in that spot and there's you and your ice cream.

Back to dinner, we were seated at a booth and I immediately ordered the margarita sampler.
Mmmmm, I wish I had this right now. :drinking1

It was a nice meal catching up with old friends.
How cool that they happened to be there! Glad you got to spend some time catching up.

this is the last time I saw that SD card – it was on the TV stand and I told myself to put it in the suitcase NOW but got distracted and forgot
 Thinking about that still makes me feel sick to my stomach. I can't believe it never turned up. :sad2:

Wow, so that functioned as a belated FP for when she got tall enough? :confused3 I measured Izzy there (I knew she wasn't tall enough for 7DMT, but wanted to make sure she'd be good for Barnstormer) and no special pass for her. Oh, well.

Yes! We have measured her there before and she didn't get one, so maybe it is just when they are *almost* there? Not sure. We got another one of these at Splash in May. the 7dmt one worked for all 4 of us (Lynda, aron, aria and myself) in May which was really nice!

Glad you made it! That's a meet I'd really like to get Izzy to (she has a little Marie plush she loves and a Marie shirt), but just haven't been able to make it work yet. So cute! :lovestruc

I am hoping that they have Marie in the DLP parks somewhere. Need to look into that, if only there was a Kenny the pirate for DLP - I have no real idea what to expect. It seems they still have characters walking around randomly though.

That looks cool. It looks like there are little characters that come with it too, I think? Not that we need any more playsets around here... :rotfl:

Yes mini characters - at least it is compact enough and you can store everything inside the house so it isn't too bad. I just realized I gave it to her for her birthday instead of Christmas, bc she opened it up in Miami and immediately started playing with it.

Mmmmmm, yummy! I'm surprised you didn't get an ice cream martini, though. Not that you can go wrong there.

I don't think I even considered anything else - I wanted something easy to push the stroller with one handed, but that would certainly work? maybe next time ;)

That's great - I hope she has a fantastic time! Are you going to do a TR for that trip? Sounds so fun! (By the way, Izzy saw a picture of Paris the other day and was like, "Mommy, I want to go there! Let's go there!")

Yeah I need to start a new post for 2015 for the cruise, may trip, and france I guess. I have a lot to do, phew! Not sure if I should just start new threads for each one?

Aria loves the Eiffel tower right now - she points it out excitedly when she sees it. I can't wait to see what she does when she realizes our Paris apartment overlooks the Eiffel tower!

I love this! :rotfl: It seems like they're always doing romantic shots in that spot and there's you and your ice cream.

hahahahaha I know! I just had to capture the moment, I was soooo happy with my ice cream and walking the world showcase, especially because the original plan would have had us driving up to a wedding and leaving Aria behind.

Thinking about that still makes me feel sick to my stomach. I can't believe it never turned up. :sad2:

Me too, I try not to even think about it but had to give it one more mention at the end lol.

Day 10 – Final day, boo!! We had breakfast reservations for Captains grill and then planned for some pool time before heading off to the airport at the check out time of 11am. On our way, I dropped off our checked luggage and had our boarding passes printed.

10647192_10100301287544491_8721755864540818868_n.jpg

Captains grill was a very nice start – I hadn’t intended to do the buffet but financially it made sense because Aria was free still, vs ordering a meal for both of us a la cart – that and it looked really good! Our waitress asked Aria who her favorite princess is and she excitedly said Cinderella! (her favorite choices are still pretty fluid) and near the end of the meal, our waitress came over with a 5x7 photo of Cinderella “signed” – SO cute! What a sweet surprise. (However, once I realized they had amazing Lemon ricotta pancakes here, I am sad I skipped over those!!)

Here is my plate - very impressed with the range of offerings. Compared to 1900 Park Fare, Captain's Grill wins hands down in the food department.

I don't know if you saw that Aria's Tinkerbelle doll came with us to dinner last night, but here she is again! Aria even wanted to share her milk with her. Not sure where her clothes went off to...

988516_10100301287789001_7030223213552305778_n.jpg

Breakfast was really great and we headed straight from there to the bathrooms to change into swimsuits. The pool didn’t open until 9 and we still had a little time so we waited near the gate. A few minutes prior to 9 a CM came over and asked if we wanted to be the “Family of the Day”!! Very cool! So she walked us over to some beach chairs, put family of the day signs on 3 of them, and left us with some towels and a paper. She asked for our names and seemed like she’d be right back, but we didn’t see her again? Weird, but we were going about our pool time anyway, with some time over at the small toddler slide and some sand time as well.

We spent a good 1.5 hours at the pool but sadly needed to get out and shower and finish packing the carry on (with wet suits ha) on the way Aria wanted a last pic with Ariel

10306639_10100301288263051_3595801421170253794_n.jpg

and then we headed to the airport. Aria occupied herself with some maps

11133764_10100301288337901_2521499652652190471_n.jpg

Seriously one of the BEST perks about staying on-site at Disney is the luggage check in, especially now that we don't have to also check the car seat (hmmm, I guess in Jan. we will have to stop and do that again!) so we flew through the TSA pre-check and on to our gate. Had to get front row seats on the monorail of course

10389965_10100301288482611_6967170002589384765_n.jpg

This time we ate at the Caribbean restaurant that has delicious chicken egg rolls, and then boarded our flight. I got to enjoy the last of my free drink coupons on Southwest while Aria slept.
Once home, I realized that the SD card was missing. I called various lost & founds and the manager at the BCV almost daily for about 2 weeks (the next occupants of my room had their do not disturb sign up for like 3 days straight and I was SO annoyed, haha). Unfortunately no one ever found it. I bet a housekeeper threw it in the trash not even knowing what it was. I **almost** went as far as having a friend stop by my old room and knock on the door, since that Do not disturb sign was up and management wouldn't bother them with it up, but I did stop myself from going too crazy.
From here I think I am going to start a new thread starting with the Miami/Cruise/Keys trip, moving on to May, and probably throwing in some Pre-trip info for France/DLP and our Jan/Feb 2016 trip - I hope you will all come join me!

That 7DMT pass is such a great idea! I'm glad you were able to use it last month!

I love the picture of Aria walking with Marie and looking up at her.

Aria's Seven Dwarves dress is so cute - did you make that?

Mmm...coconut gelato! And your margarita sampler looks pretty good, too! How nice to meet up with old friends at Epcot.

Glad you got a little pool time on your last day and had special Family of the Day chairs.

I'm off to check out your new report!

Aw, so sweet! Love when you get the extra pixie dust like that!

:rotfl2: Cute how she's sharing her drink.

A few minutes prior to 9 a CM came over and asked if we wanted to be the “Family of the Day”!! Very cool!
Wow, I had no idea that was a thing. But cool! Ah, I wish we'd gotten to enjoy SAB. Maybe it's for the best, though - Izzy's been back in swim lessons for 2 weeks (after a long hiatus) and she is TERRIFIED of the water. So, that might not have gone well anyway. :confused3 Glad you guys had a good time there!

Seriously one of the BEST perks about staying on-site at Disney is the luggage check in
Yeah, I missed that this last trip (since Sun Country doesn't participate). We really like that perk too.

This time we ate at the Caribbean restaurant that has delicious chicken egg rolls, and then boarded our flight. I got to enjoy the last of my free drink coupons on Southwest while Aria slept.
Sounds like a pretty good airport/flight experience to me.

See ya on the new thread! :wave2:

SO, I basically spent all evening catching up on all your trips!!! And I LOVE the functionality of the new multi-quote!

At some point they thought it would be fun to lie on the ground, and I am not really a germophobe so I didn’t really care – the table next to us who had a maybe, 6 year old girl? Seemed disgusted though. The girl wanted to get on the ground with them and the parents absolutely refused. About 30 minutes later and the girl was on the floor with Aria and Izzy though, so the parents lost that battle.

I am totally not a germaphobe either (we have horses and live in the country). HOWEVER, we spent some time at the wading stream at the Dallas Zoo, and there were kids sucking up the water, that all the kids were playing in and all the adults had their feet in! I almost couldn't take it and the parents were right there...watching it all go on and not saying a thing!!! :crazy2::confused3:scared:

So I got to lug the 5000 lb stroller and car seat and backpack and leftover pizza and drinks down the tarmac.

Which stroller was this? The City Select? And is the one you just converted to the double? I guess you just now bought the second seat attachment?

I thought this was so cute when I saw it on Facebook!

Oh boy, if you want to go down the rabbit hole, feel free to look me up - I have two Facebook profiles and one is devoted to Aria's wardrobe (totally serious).

BAHAHAHAHA! Me, me, me!!! I went down the rabbit hole!!! Lol! Its fun and sometimes crazy down here, but I wouldn't change it! "It's all about keeping a little girl...a little girl." :lovestruc

A frozen lemonade break (this tasted SO yummy! I had one again in May)

Where did you get this at? I must find this!

I will be following you over however you decide to do the upcoming trips and I'll try not to let it go so long without checking in! :flower1:

No I left my very short sewing career behind when I had Aria. I made her a couple things while preggo, and the amount of time it takes (me) plus cost of fabric and I'd much rather just pay someone else to make things hahaha. This one was from Studio J, but she has gone a bit MIA unfortunately (she also made her German ellie along with a few others).

Thank you for coming over, and yes the 7DMT pass was very neat, what an extra little Disney touch!

Aw, so sweet! Love when you get the extra pixie dust like that!

:rotfl2: Cute how she's sharing her drink.

See ya on the new thread! :wave2:

Oh no, is she really?! We start new swim lessons today actually - a group setting versus her private lessons. I am getting fed up that she is doing the EXACT same thing they started off doing last September or so (whenever we started). She likes the water but has learned a "healthy" fear of it - but that has made her so much more cautious which is good and bad (only bad when I want her to go down a water slide so that *I* can also go down it, LOL!). I wish you had had a better experience at BCV.

SO, I basically spent all evening catching up on all your trips!!! And I LOVE the functionality of the new multi-quote!

Thank you for catching up!! You haven't been around much at all! At least on the DIS, I know youre around on FB thankfully :-D

Yeah that is GROSS! LOL it wasn't like they were licking the ground or anything, but laying on it I was totally okay with.

Which stroller was this? The City Select? And is the one you just converted to the double? I guess you just now bought the second seat attachment?

Yeah the city select. We actually bought the 2nd seat when we got the stroller (since that was the #1 reason we bought the stroller, that it would eventually turn into a double). It is heavy, but SO SO worth having it at the parks, I can't sing its praises enough. We won't need the 2nd seat in Jan as we will just use the car seat & attachment for it. We thought about bringing it to France but the thought of it being stolen is keeping us from doing that and instead we'll bring the Mini.

I thought this was so cute when I saw it on Facebook!

Thank you!!

BAHAHAHAHA! Me, me, me!!! I went down the rabbit hole!!! Lol! Its fun and sometimes crazy down here, but I wouldn't change it! "It's all about keeping a little girl...a little girl." :lovestruc

Hahahaha I am so glad you did! It is nice having someone who loves clothes AND Disney to chat with.

Where did you get this at? I must find this!

I will be following you over however you decide to do the upcoming trips and I'll try not to let it go so long without checking in! :flower1:

It is near the tea cups, on the Tomorrowland side. Just a little stand where they had coffees and pastries and then these lemonade things. I'm sure it has a name and if I find it I will let you know!
