Member's meeting, BWV 9-13-01

Just wanted to pass on the following information that was presented this morning at the Member's meeting held at BWV.

1. In the near future, you will be able to check room availability on the internet. This is availability only, not actual ressies.

2. Beginning 9-24-01 all DVC members will begin receiving new member guidebooks. New books will now be issued annually.

3. In 2004, a new cruise ship will be joining the Disney fleet.

4. Disney now has a new agreement with Sheraton hotels and they will be in the new listings in the new guidebook.

5. In 2002 Holland America will be adding a 2nd Alaska cruise
schedule.

6. There are now 60,000 members in DVC.

7. Wilderness Lodge villas are expected to sell out in the next 30 to 45 days.

8. Beach Club villas sales are still scheduled to begin Sept 2002.

Was also at the meeting.
They do believe The Wilderness Lodge will sell out in the next 30 to 45 days.
He did say that he was aware of the talk (rumors) about pre-selling The Beach Club. They are not ready to announce a early sell date, but did admit that one could logically assume that there will be an earlier date.
