meeting Peter Pan

My DD is a huge Peter Pan fan. Does he come out often for meet and greets or is he hard to find.

We just got back last night. On Sat our GC got Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook, and Mr. Skneed at the alcove in the front of the POC. If you are standing facing the POC it is to your right. In fact it is right next to the restrooms.

Also seen Peter Pan and Wendy by POC in 3/04-- near where the bathroom walkway is.

Yep, Peter Pan is most often found near the exit to Pirates of the Caribbean. We also saw him there in May with Wendy. On another trip I met him in front of Expo Hall, right after you enter Magic Kingdom. :)

Outside the exit/restroom area of Pirates is definately your best bet! :) :)

Last week on the day we were looking for him at MK my wife went to Guest Services and was told that he'd be at the alcove outside POTC at 10:45 and 3:45 that day.

Yes, you can meet Peter Pan and it is worth the time to search him out. He is the most "in character" character we've met. If DD is a fan make sure you take the time to find him.

We too met him at POC with Mr Smee and Wendy.

We saw him & Wendy behind the POC ride last week. He was there at 10:45 & I agree he is very "in character" my son loved meeting him :)

Good Luck finding him!

We had dinner at 1900 Park Fare and were pleasantly surprised to see Peter there! He was so in character! Every time he approached a boy he said "Hello, Lost Boy! What adventure did we have to day" He bounced around the room and hit every table at least twice. Great character!!

In May - he and Wendy were doing autographs for the people waiting for the opening of Toontown (MK). When they dropped the rope they stopped, held hands and walked into Toontown and off through a gate. I got a picture of them from behind holding hands, it was so cute !

When my daughter was around 6 or 7 we ate at the character breakfast at the castle. We had a late sitting and as we were eating the room was clearing out. Some of the characters had come around to our table but not Peter Pan, a character my daughter really wanted to see. We finished eating and my daughter said she wanted to sit at the table until Peter Pan came. We asked a server if Peter Pan would be back and she said she didn't think so, he probably had left for the morning. Needless to say my daughter was sad, lips trembling, some tears in her eyes. We told her perhaps we could see Peter Pan later in the day. Just about that time across the room we see Peter Pan come bounding out a door and across the room straight to our table. He bounced up to the table, looked at my daughter and said "Well, I hear there is a young lady who wants to see Peter Pan." He was the most in character of any character I have seen. Needless to say my daughter was thrilled. We have been to WDW a lot of times, had a lot of memorable moments, but those few minutes we have not forgotten over the years.

He is hilarious! We saw him at 1900 Park Fare about 4 or 5 years ago. Peter Pan agitated my fiance (then boyfriend) to no end and my fiance was in his mid-twenties. It was so much fun. He kept making him make a muscle and touched his hair (spiky at the time) and yelled that my fiance's hair hurt his hand. We had a really good time with him (well, at least I did);) .

We've also seen Peter Pan and Wendy at the Tea Cups on several trips.

I've heard that Peter Pan is also usually at the end of the Family Magic Tour in MK. Although it sounds like the perfect opportunity for close interaction with Peter (including him taking the children on a ride afterwards), but unfortunately you can't guarantee 100% that he'll be the one at the end of the tour. :(

Peter Pan was by Pirates of the Caribbean when I was there last. He had no line at all and was very disappointed that Hook was getting all the attention.

And it's getting more and more difficult to even get a chance to go on the tour. My boys wanted nothing more than to meet PP. When I tried to arrange for our family to go on the tour, I was told, "Well, that's odd. I've never seen it booked for two solid weeks before."

We were able to find PP at POTC, but the tour would have been special.

I agree that Peter Pan is one of the best characters around to meet! One morning we went on POTC and asked one of the cm's at the gift shop when they would be there -- they told us at 10 a.m. (right after the 1st Cinderella Surprise Celebration Show in which both Pan and Hook appear too.) -- So we headed over to the Cinderella show in front of the castle (I think this is a must see if you have a child who likes to see a lot of the classic characters) -- then went straight to the back of the gift shop (by the bathrooms someone else here said) -- and saw Hook, Mr. Smee and Peter Pan... My son had bought a pirate hat, sword and hook in the Pirates shop (my dd's had hooks too) -- and the characters got a kick out of that -- Peter Pan signed ds's sword and "turned it into a Lost Boy Sword" --
He is definitely around so just ask a CM somewhere -- as others have said here, they all should have a number to call to find out exactly where he'll be -- outside the POTC gift shop area is the most sure bet though -- one side note, his handler was obviously (to the adults) frustrated easily as PP just spent such good quality time w/each guest... he practically ignored her even though she was getting all concerned he was going to run out of time... don't let it bother you --- Peter Pan will want to meet you!
