Can someone clarify for me? We are a party of 6 with one big kid and one too little for some rides. So, if the big kid and 3 adults have max pass and make a RSR FP via max pass for say 5pm, and the adult with no fp goes up with the little kid when they scan in, they will put a rider switch pass on the adult with no FP account which will say he can return in like an hour? And when he does he can take another person with him, who just used their FP?

Also, if the big kid has max pass but is too scared for Haunted can an adult with no max pass use that kid tickets’ max pass to scan into the ride? Is that cheating?

Thank you!!! In the parks Wednesday, can’t wait!!!!

We went to the parks in May- we were a group of 7- 5 Disney adults (4 adults and one 14 year old) and two little ones who were 19 months. We purchased 3 Maxpasses and then used rider swap- so we would scan the 3 passes with the FP in, and ask for rider swap and then the cast member would load those 3 tickets with rider swap- the two adults who had stayed with the little ones and the 14 year old generally would ride again. We had no issues and had asked CM's if this was fine and they said it was. I'm not sure if this has changed at all since then

It should work the way the poster outlined above.

Keep in mind that rider switch is one of the things that really seems to confuse CMs, and it's possible to find a lot of inconsistency in how it's handled. So, just bring your patience for that, and be prepared to (kindly and calmly) ask to speak to a lead CM when needed.

As far as scanning in for your FPs, any person can use any ticket with the FP loaded on it.
