Please name your top 3 hotels on the strip which is best to stay with kids...we need best location as the family will have no rental car and just staying 3 days. They have never been there nor have I so I am no help. They are thinking that best location will offer lots to do...

I stay at the Desert rose which is located at behind the Tropicana and Hooters. They have 1 and 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, free breakfast everyday. Gym, laundry, pool and Jacuzzi. It is very walkable to many hotels. There is the M&M store and the Coke store. NYNY, Luxor , MGM are right there. The place also has BBQ's as well.

My mum stayed at the Luxor with my step-brothers kids while we were all there Oct 2013, she said it was great for the kids but wasn't her cup of tea. (if it helps the kids were 3, 7 & 9 at the time of the trip)

I stayed at Treasure Island as a kid and loved it, so it was the first place I took my now DH for his first visit in 2012.

Otherwise I would think NYNY or Mirage would be suitable.

I don't think Excalibur would be even though its cute, it was a bit seedy when we visited....

NYNY was the first casino to come to mind. It's really close to the M&M and Coke stores, have quick "budget" food on the casino floor like Fish N Chips, and the arcade area for kids is one of the biggest (of course nothing beats Circus Circus, but that's pretty far up the strip).
