Has anyone done this?
There were no Tier 2 available the entire week we are there, only Tier 1.
We got the package for our trip, and it says to allow 3 hours to complete.
Our lunch is at Tiffins at 11:40 am for a 3:00 pm Lion King Show.
Does this mean we go to lunch, then the safari, then the show?
Is it like a tour? So many questions...
Unfortunately, the phone CM could only tell me to plan 3 hours for the "event".
TIA

There is a whole thread about the FoLK package if you use the search feature. We have Tier 1 booked for January and I’m very excited. It is my understanding you eat at Tiffin’s (which can take up to 1 1/2 hours). Then you are free to do whatever until you need to arrive 15 mins before showtime. Safari is immediately after the show.

Thank you so much!!! I did search first and didn't come up with it, I'll try again. I really appreciate your fast response!!!

We actually saw the Show and did the safari before our dinner. Here is my review of our experience.

If you are planning on dining at Tiffins anyway this package is a bargain. Our dinner reservations were for 6:45 so we were assigned the 2pm show. We swung by Tiffins about 1:30 to pick up our passes and made our way over to Africa. We were directed to the exit where we were welcomed by a cast member and instructed we would be escorted to the front row of the Elephant section. When we were seated the show manager came over, introduced herself and asked if we had any ???s about the show. We chatted for a minute and then our animal education specialist stopped by and told us to just sit tight after the show and she would come collect us for our safari. The show was amazing as always, the front row view was fabulous, very immersive. As promised, Tonya came to escort us for our private safari. We were the only ones doing the package this show. We were in a regular ride vehicle, just the 4 of us. Best safari ever, Tonya had worked at AK for a number of years, had worked as a driver and had recently been promoted to education specialist. So much background information about the safari and the animals. Cannot recommend this enough. Dinner at Tiffins was wonderful. Starting with a sparkling toast, full 3 coarse meal including another glass of wine, beer or cocktail. We would have easily spent 99 pp just on dinner so the add ones really are a bonus. Highly recommend this experience.

Thanks for this info! Thmacs1 I'm trying to decide whether to book this. I'm wondering if it takes up more time than doing the 3 things separately? We have limited time at AK and want to see lots.

We were able to see the bird show and ride FOP standby (45 minutes) after our Safari and before dinner. We could have done more but decided to have a drink at Tambu lounge before dinner. Seeing the show and riding the safari probably took less time because we did not have to wait in any queues.

Thank you so much! Sounds awesome.

While I have you - any thoughts on this timing? When I look at the FOLK packages, I put in 5 pm Tiffins and it gives me a 3 pm FOLK show. Does this plus ROL show after (7:15 pm) seem like a good plan?

We did this last month with the same time parameters that you have. We had a wonderful lunch, went off to do some other activities, and then were escorted into the 3 PM Lion King show. We sat in the very front row of the warthogs. It was wonderful! It was almost like you were in the show. After the show was over, our educator came to get us to escort us to our Safari. There were six people total two couples, and a mom and little girl. It was incredible being on the Safari with only six people, everybody got to ask lots of questions. It was an excellent experience, well worth the money, and I would highly recommend it.

It does not take more time than doing them individually.
A meal is a meal and that takes the same length.
The show is the show, same with or without the package.
The safari is the only thing that is different but still, you are on the trek with regular vehicles before and after yours, yours doesn't stop or do anything differently, only what you are told during your safari varies.

The 3 hour window comes in from combing it all back to back to back, with the time needed to get from point to point.
Like if you ate at 12:00, or 12:30, had the Show at 2:00 and then the safari after that. 2:00 show, puts you on the Safari at about 2:45, roughly.

Oh, and the first time I booked, I did it on the phone and there the CM was able to let me pick whatever Lion King show I wanted as opposed to booking online where it will place you with time seemingly at random. I haven't ever called again to book so no idea if this is still how it's happening. If you can't get the times you want online, try calling

Okay I have this booked for March 2020 and am so excited! Question - we have an 11:35 am Tiffins and 3 pm FOLK Show - and we are doing Cirque du Soleil at 5:30 pm that same day. Will this timing work? Willing to do a Lyft to Disney Springs if needed.

Yeah, you'll be on the safari by 4:00, and that takes about 30 min, roughly. Well, not full 30 min but by the time you load and off load.
I'd plan on a Lyft to DS for sure.
